Watched the replay & thought we did a good job last night. see more at the game but the players that we kept quite last night was a huge credit to the team & coach. Good signs overall. They were desperate & the umpiring overall was shocking for both clubs. our pressure caused them fatigue which resulted in many mistakes just like they have done to us in the past.

The Result. We came out on top no matter what the margin  :gotigers

i watched the game to h/t and then turned it off. you could see late in the second q what was going to happen, seriously thought we would get rolled.

had to watch a replay today and im still scratching my head how we won that game. did not deserve it. what has changed from last yr where have we improved. if the first two weeks are anything to go by we have gone backwards.
we lost at stoppages, we lost at clearances, we lost the i/50 count, we lost c/p count, and we were out tackled, to top it all of we conceded 15 marks inside 50 how the hell did carlton not win this game.

the usual suspects went missing again as soon as it became a contested game. we have to be the biggest bunch of down hill skiers going around. look great when its on our terms but have no answer at all when it gets tough.

Are you serious claw. Genuine question.

Some sides match up well to us and we match up well to others. We struggle vs the Blues. Fact.

Imagine what the Hawks fans must post after we've pulled their pants down the past couple of years  ::)

We struggle against Carlton but we are slowly getting over that.
Okay, we fell over the line and did poop our dacks in that last qtr but we fought back well in the last 10 minutes of the game.

Take the 4 points run and don't look back.
Thankfully we don't play them again. :-\

:lol :clapping

l seen this again not long ago & peeed ourselves laughing  :rollin
This is freakishly awesome.
If you look carefully nobody knew it was even comin in their direction.
Everybody must have lost sight of the ball, waiting for it to come through on the other side of the goal posts.
This just goes to show how absolutely shockin the kick was.

Really reminds, of some of steve kernahans kicks for goal many years ago.

Agree with you Angus, Kingy won't be dropped. Will play next week. A Dimma favourite guarantees it  ;D

Short preseason because all his surgeries, lacks match fitness hence why he was subbed

Don't get me wrong, I want him to play next week and for the rest of the year.
He is awesome to watch and one of my fav players.
Maybe, as you say, if it's just because of lack match fitness, he may just play next week. Let's hope he does.
