Rance is irreplaceable. The best defender we've had for 30 years.
He's more valuable to us than Martin.
If push comes to shove re our coffers I know who I'd be showing the money to.
Darren Gaspar could play a bit :shh

Hey WP, didn't you say he would sign before the season starts along with Dusty ?

No I didn't, never said that at all

But twist away to your heart's content if you must

Well the more it drags on the more I think he will go. This could go two ways and Rance needs to be careful too. He could come out all guns blazing, set the AFL on fire and produce his best footy which will push his price up. Or it could go vice versa and where does that leave all parties? Additionally if he is injured and its long term that could raise more concern.

I just wish it was sorted now because it will affect our season!!

That horse has bolted, don't you think!

Rance can play a lot.

I really hope he is re-signed. Won't be at all happy with the club if we don't do all we can to keep him.

magic is spot on. Rance leaves and our only hope of a flag also goes.

if he does leave then i hope hardwick walks out the door also and takes that amateur richardson also.

seriously this should have been locked up 12 months ago

so funny to see people whip themselves into a frenzy of bed wetting over something that may or may not even happen.

Yeah, never mind being a bit passionate about the club and our success or lack there of!!!

Rance is a better defender that Gaspar, where Rance beats Gaspar is that he is a far more attacking defender, someone who can get a lot more or the footy as well. Rance over Gaspar for mine.

AFL website have a video of him talking about contract.
Are you confident in resigning? Rance's response : I think i'm going to deal with that later in the year, I have spoken to the club about it and they have said that, and I will just continue to go about business as usual and let the rest work its self out.

TO ME THAT SOUNDS GOOD AS GONE!!! and if not WANTING TO GO!!!

Hope i'm wrong.

Talking about it now on radio. They are saying Hardwick should have given him the ultimatum, 2 weeks make your decision!!! I agree.

After hearing that audio Eddie and Darce both agreed it sounded like Rance was going, have a listen below and see what you think.

Did I really?

For memory in this thread I said I was confident he'd re-sign and you called me a fool

So seeing I am a fool I will repeat the other thing I said in this thread and that is I wont post about it again.

End of this dicussion for me
