Talk now of Josh Dunkley possibly slipping to the 40s.

@michaelgteach - Where do you rate Josh Dunkley? Is his lack of pace and kicking efficiency as bad as some have suggested?

‏@BrettAndersonIF -  I have him in 40s. Will go a bit earlier though probably.

That's a good sign, usually these draft experts know pretty early who we are taking at 12.

I thought Vic won that, you talking bout the games at Simonds stadium this year?
The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Just heard someone say recently Victoria usually wins

Yet recently , they lost to qld by 100 points

I am wondering if it is that team, tht now in the upcommin draft pool - or at least 5o%

Would make some sense if it's a poor draft overall , somewhat

Any interest here in us picking up state league players late in the draft or the rookie draft?

Foxsports has a list of potential VFL players who are a chance ...

Josh Dunkley is a hard player to put into a draft range. His inconsistent season means he is a difficult one for recruiters to judge, with some seeing him as a top-20 pick and others viewing him closer to pick 40 or so. He has two more weeks to make a decision as to whether he will nominate for the Sydney Swans as a father-son pick or not, with the final deadline coming on November 20, just four days before the NAB AFL Draft. As for the Eagles, you'd think they would look at him with picks 23 and 31, but given his outwardness about being keen to stay in Victoria, it would be an interesting choice.

Paige Cardona’s AFL Phantom Draft – Edition Two:

15: Richmond – Callum Ah Chee

Height: 182cm, Weight: 71kg, DOB: 09/10/1997
Recruited from: South Fremantle
Draft Range: 5-30

Exciting forward that can leap like a flea off a wet dog. Has a terrific skill set and rates elite for speed and his top-end pace. Looks his best when played as a forward, where he offers some zip, class and poise around the 50. The kind of player who makes you gasp and gets you out of your seat. Sets goals up with poise and deft touch when he’s not igniting his side with big-moment goals.

49: Richmond – Hisham Kerbatieh

Height: 177cm, Weight: 77kg, DOB: 16/05/1997
Recruited from: Calder Cannons
Draft Range: 30-rookie

Electric yet smooth small forward who inspires his teammates with his mercurial goals, defensive pressure and desperation inside 50. Is a thumping kick for goal, and has a bag of tricks to boot. Presents as a barometer player, with a big leap and eye for goal that has drawn comparisons to Magpie Jamie Elliott. Gets a big tick for his agility, evasiveness and ridiculous goose-step through traffic. His strong core and team-first attitude means when he’s not kicking goals, he’s setting them up.

I'd doubt we will pass over Oliver if he was available at our pick. Paige has him going later at pick 24 which is the opposite of the draft journos like Anderson and Twomey who have him going early to the Suns.

Houlis mate? I'd be happy with him as a late pick if we don't go for a small forward early

We haven't this year got anyone on the 'permission to train' list. So it looks like we'll be going with kids with our later picks.
