The American system is very different to ours and the presidential vote is two years away so no one even knows who his Democrat opponent will be. So, of course Trump can still realistically win a second term. They also have voluntary voting so any result depends on how many supporters of either side are motivated to turn up to vote and their electoral college system means a presidential vote can be won without needing to win the popular vote. He won't care if more and more Californians and New Yorkers vote against him as they are already Democrat states. If Trump holds onto Florida, Ohio and Iowa in 2020 then he'll win again. Based on the midterm results that's a possibly in those states. Trump won't then care after that as long as the Republicans hold majority in the US Senate so he can't be impeached.
