Sorry ... wrong movie!
You were doing My Friend Flicka, right?
How about a little Ben Hur action to get the crowd at the coliseum going?    ;D

Should have finished 2 points from top spot last year by beating Freo at the G. We're top 4 quality. Unlucky to get our bogey side in the first final

Yeah dumb selections, pathetic coaching and being thoroughly outplayed in every aspect all combining for the same match was pretty unlucky....

Kicking against the wind vs Port was pretty unlucky.

So was Cotchins 9 possessions.

So was the lay down against Carlton.

So unlucky.

Such a poor analogy..,,
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

You probably think we should have won because in real life a tiger would beat a kangaroo.

Richmond 2015

1). Best percentage since 1982 ( FACT)
2) Better percentage than the minor premiers ( FACT )
3) Third best defence in the comp ( FACT)
4) Conceeded the least amount of goals last season ( FACT )
5) Was a brain fart away from defeating the minor premiers twice ( FACT )
6) Defeated a full strength Hawthorn ( FACT )
7) Won 15 games . 15 games was enough to secure a top 4 birth in years  2000 till 2011 ( FACT)
8  ) beat Sydney at the SCG ( FACT)
9) Beat Port at the Adelaide Oval  ( FACT)
10) Won 42 games in the past 3 seasons - 5th best in the competition ( FACT)
11) Despite playing abysmally we have been in front during the final quarter in two of our recent 3 EFs

12) Is there a precedent of a team losing 3 EFs in a row before moving on to bigger and better things . Yes there is - WCE 02 till 04 . ( FACT)

I simply don't agree that is all doom and gloom.

But what would I know . I am a nuffer who keeps drinking the Kool aid and believes in unicorns.

Richmond 2015

1). Best percentage since 1982 ( FACT) OF ALL CLUBS OR JUST CRAPPY RICHMOND SIDES SINCE 1982?
2) Better percentage than the minor premiers ( FACT )MORE WINS TOO? DID WE GET A TROPHY? A DOUBLE CHANCE?
3) Third best defence in the ( FACT) YEAH AND...? HOW WAS OUR DEFENCE IN FINALS?
4) Conceeded the least amount of goals last season ( FACT ) EXCEPT WHEN IT MATTERED AND ATTACK WAS STILL BELOW AVERAGE
5) Was a brain fart away from defeating the minor premiers twice ( FACT ) BUT DIDN"T
6) Defeated a full strength Hawthorn ( FACT ) IN JULY
7) Won 15 games . 15 games was enough to secure a top 4 birth in years  2000 till 2011 ( FACT) BUT WASN'T LAST YEAR -SO WHAT? DID THAT IN 2013 TOO.
8) Beat Sydney at the SCG ( FACT) IN JUNE AND THEY WEREN"T THAT GOOD LAST YEAR.
9) Beat Port at the Adelaide Oval  ( FACT) NON-FINALISTS WHO WERE WOEFULLY OUT OF FORM.
10) Won 42 games in the past 3 seasons - 5th best in the competition ( FACT) SO STILL NOT A TOP 4  SIDE THEN?
11) Despite playing abysmally we have been in front during the final quarter in two of our recent 3 EFs WELL WACKO!!AREN"T WE JUST AWESOME CHOKERS!?!

12) Is there a precedent of a team losing 3 EFs in a row before moving on to bigger and better things . Yes there is - WCE 02 till 04 . ( FACT) YES IF IT HAPPENED ONCE BEFORE THEN SURELY IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN!HARDWICK MUST BE AS GOOD AS WORSFOLD! WERE THOSE 3 WCE EF"S AFTER 12 YEARS OF NO FINALS?

I simply don't agree that is all doom and gloom. NOR DO MOST OF US - WE SIMPLY DON'T THINK IT'S ALL SUNSHINE, LOLLIPOPS  & RAINBOWS EITHER AND THINGS WILL JUST AUTOMATICALLY IMPROVE WITHOUT ANY CHANGES.

But what would I know . I am a nuffer who keeps drinking the Kool aid and believes in unicorns. CORRECT.

A completely irrelevant analogy as it neglects the qualifying period that establishes the ladder heirachy. Would be like arguing a horse that comes 6th in the cox plate is little better than the stony ck maiden winner that failed to qualify.
