Blicavs would fill a few needs - quick, (very)tall, athletic, big bodied mid who can also ruck, take marks and has averaged around 6 tackles a game for the last two years.... only real knock is he doesn't really kick goals...apart from that though, he's the player Vickery should've been IMO (a second ruck who was effectively an unsually tall but agile mid) but better in the ruck....I'd also prefer a couple of picks but unfortunately Geelong don't have first rounder this year and they can't give us next year's either because you can't trade future first round picks two years running....

BJ Flair has some strict guidelines he employs when selecting players for a possible trade to Richmond.

1. Has the player struggled to produce consitant performances?
2. Has the player had atleast one good game against us?
3. Has the player had some off field issues of any sorts?
Bonus points if the player has has any previous connection with Port or Carlscum.

If the answer is yes to these three questions he's pretty keen to unload any pick under 30 to get it done.   :clapping

This made me smile and cry.

Deledio for "a Geelong star" whispers getting louder.... my uneducated guess for this unubstantiated rumour is Motlop...my hope would be Blicavs.....though I would've thought the whole idea of trading out a player like Deledio would be to get a high draft pick....
all of Geelongs "stars" are aged in Footy terms, i'd want a 1st rounder or no deal, they don't have one so will have to get creative, we can then ontrade that for Prestia... even in a 3 way trade that sends Motlop to GC

Motlop would be a liability in our team.
Reckon they would consider Lids for Motlop

Imagine Motlop, Yarran, Houli, Ellis  and Co in the same team. All downhill skiers

Blicavs won their B&F last year. Can play at a consistent high level.

Like Blicavs a lot but he's half the player of Lids when in full flight
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Hm get a first round pick please Cats. Keep your fringe players.

1st round pick for Lids. Send Motlop to North they love give up first rounders. On trade that for Lids.
Ellis and Edwards for Prestia.
Vickery for 2nd round compo

Out: Lids, Vickery, Ellis and Edwards
In: Prestia, 1st and 2nd round picks

Add our pick 6 into the list next year that is 3 very talented players in exchange for 3 over rated players with countless chances and an injury prone elite player with 3 years left.

Win.
Go Tigers!
