I agree that Castagna should be dropped before Bolton but he won't be....and Butler certainly won't be nor should he be.....

Good 'ole stats

Can tell any story you want

Butler was the best of the 3 by a long way. His work of the ball that wouldn't have been seen on the TV was very good. He chased, he gave 2nd & 3rd efforts

Bolton at times refused to chase...very disappointing

Fair enough I wasn’t there. But On TV I saw Castagna 3 times and he fell over three times.  :lol

Castagna was still worse...(and only one tackle is inexcusable for a bloke playing his role)......I thought all three were ordinary.....Butler might've been the "best" of the three but he stll lairised as much as Bolton and was at his fumbly, low percentage , body-faster-than-brain worst....and they all missed more tackles than they made ( and still can't understand why that isn't an official stat)

Picking on Butler out of all our midgets is a bit rich.  Bolton was like a kid bouncing off of adults all night.  We were one player down with him.

I think it's us who have put contract talks on hold
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

No doubt has talent to burn but needs to get the fundamentals right firstly and that is run and chase. Still ahead of Castagna though

Funny thing is that Bolton's efforts would have placed him among our better defensive runners had he played in some past Richmond sides....standards are thankfully so much higher now.... :shh

It’s probably because you have a habit of bagging the poo out of our young players who barely have pubes
