Port Adelaide wins commitment from Steve Motlop despite bigger offer from Adelaide.

I await Tex's response :lol :lol

He’s still in the middle of the MCG doing his power ranger stance.

Geelong have also considered something similar apparently.

Richmond:  pick 15 + Lloyd or late pick --->  picks 19 (Motlop compo), 21

Now that I would consider but would need "late pick" defined...
From the outset sounds decent enough, would give us 17, 19 and 21. Not bad for the team that just won the flag.

I just get the feeling we have someone in mind at 15 and 17 gets used for Schache.

Explains why he was missing during the game, he didn't know it started

So apparently Geelong are getting pick 19 as compo for Motlop.....which is the same as what we would've received for Martin had he left...

...yeah the system's not dodgy at all..... :whistle

Latest reports say it'll more likely be a second rounder - pick 35.

Shifty Sheehan is Geelong supporter and decides compo. Cheating prick as it's a ridiculous decision

No stuffing way that should be an end 1st round compo pick.

Given we don't have a pick between 17 and 52 it has no impact on us but still BS

Wow! Port signing Motlop on a 4-year deal at $500 p.a.  :o. That'll take him to 30+ years of age. No wonder he jumped ship.

Has Chris Mayne MKII written all over it.

Haha. I’m not up to speed with all the young/fringe players at other clubs. Just saw the article, he is a forward and only 20 and hardly played a game and thought I’d ask if anyone knew better  ;D
