If he goes its not all doom and gloom:-

Third pick in the first round
2 x 750k to throw at players from other clubs
He'll rot at North for the next 5 years and retire without a flag
North will be cashless.

And thats if we dont engineer a deal for Norths pick 1 or 2.
Have I got this right? North lose this week and we are screwed. That will give them the number one pick and he can end up there without having to be traded. So if Dusty wants to go then there is no point matching the offer as we get nothing.

Why does the Kangaroos losing make ANY difference? It's free agency, not the December draft???
Because it gives them the first pick which they can use to take Dusty if a deal can't be done.

It only makes a difference if Dusty wants to go there and a deal can't be done. He can then nominate for the draft as an uncontracted player.

Which is more likely to be the case., as they will offer us their second round pick not pick 1 leaving us with the option of getting bent over via the psd or accepting the compo pick of a mid teen pick.

they will have us over a barrel when they finish last.

lions @ 1.50 is as sure a bet as anything you will ever see.

If Dusty leaves he's a mercenary.

Club has gone above and beyond ever since they recruited him . He was invited into the Presidents family home early days - the club supported him throughout the chopstix fiasco . They have been supportive with regards to his dad .

The only issue I can think of was they did sack his best mate who was a friggen trouble maker.

And just on North and Denham's article this morning, Brad Scott denied three weeks ago that he was booked to travel to NZ around or after round 23.

Is Martin going to leave?

Who knows

And with this circus I seriuosly am bordering on not caring...

From just about done, to another Ralph stunt which Dusty and his old man have allowed

Over it TBBH

I respect a manager doing the best for his client, but Ralph is an entertainment manager. It's not the first time he has done this and imo it's highly distracting for the club. Did I read here he is Bolton's manager too? Would prefer it for the club to avoid dealing with him ever again.
