Of course we all want Dusty to stay, but the player is never bigger than the club.

I have total confidence in the club to have a cut off point.

All the clubs that have lost big stars have been fine and so will we

Franklin
Ablett
Dangerfield

Plenty throughout the history of the game

The hysteria here is unbelievable.

All these so called reports are unsubstantiated. The club has made a firm offer to Dusty and Carr. It is more than reasonable. I have heard he has accepted them in principle. Some fine detail needed still to be sorted.

Dusty loves the club. If he goes back on his agreement then he is a mug but I don't see that happening.

There's really not much hysteria in here, just discussing what is being posted in the media.

With north constantly upping their offers to now ridiculous levels that tells me he is staying and North are doing anything to pry him out.

Is Martin going to leave?

Who knows

And with this circus I seriuosly am bordering on not caring...

From just about done, to another Ralph stunt which Dusty and his old man have allowed

Over it TBBH

Personally if Dustin the man had the gonads he would have dealt with 'this months ago.

The Merkin is well known throughout the industry for running roughshod on many a deal.

So the club will be informed going into a finals campaign does it withhold the info from the media and players..I'm sure it will be announced. Or leaked that's how Carr operates.

The whole thing has turned into a 3 ring circus, Merkin, Dustin now Damir Martin, the only operator that has shown to be professional is the club...

Personally 7 years 1.5m we send him on his way, even 7 years 1.2m is a bit OTT.

You can sense a little bit the tide will turn in regards to how the news is received when does announce see ya...if that were the case.

Actually David Schwartz made a very valid point yesterday using G Ablett Jnr as example

Ablett Jnr chased the $$$ and it's not been a great footy result for him. Yes he has is millions to count but thats all. He's missed out on alot of footy enjoyment and has spent the last 18 months sooking about wanting to come home

Went on to say if it's about the $$$ then do an Ablett and leave, if it's about team and personal sucess (read winning flags) then you stay

It really isn't a hard choice

If it's for too much coin, hope he goes

Tear the joint down if that happens.

I would consider swapping Dusty for Heeney and Parker.  Otherwise Sydney can FO
