Frustrating game.  Yeah the umpiring stank and was all over the poo as usual but they murdered us in the air and with clean kicking.  We kept hand passing ourselves to death early on Rance looked like he was crook he had such a dirty game.  He doesn't have them often.  I wrote this one off in my head when I saw it was at the litter box anyway.   Next time.

The realty is, on our day we can match it with anyone.
Never know what to expect each week.
I'd also suggest we don't have the cattle to go all the way. Need a hard contest player, maybe miles or graham or Townsend. And a solid chf.

Think Broad was a bit crap today.  I think we missed a good tough in and under sort that never gives up, is quick and does not stop, maybe Miles coulda filled that post.

Poor disposal gets found out in games like this.

I would ideally have had Short in instead of Houli. Markov in instead of Broad and Miles in instead of Corey Ellis. The latter for contested ball.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Well set shot kicking needs to improve and I didnt like Jack smiling when he missed late in the game. I love Jack but we need to focus and make every set shot count. Houli was very poor today and it again highlighted he is not a player that can handle big games. McIntosh needs a tackle coach as it lets him and the team down. Butler and George very poor and we need another tall who can play relief ruck. I like Soldo but he cant continue this year. peeed we didn't beat this mob as i hate them :banghead Rance should have been moved so much earlier as Astbury is our best one on one defender and Rance should never play that deep again. Prestia and Cotchin were great :clapping How Dusty didn't recieve more free kicks is staggering...was being held so often even before he gathered the ball. Again...Houli should be dropped for Short IMO.

Usual shyte from  the usual suspects when confronted with good side that turns up the heat ...the terrified Twins Houli, Beliis & Nowhere man Grigg, (we seriously can't keep carrying all of these clowns into finals) Halfstep comatose in the box again......kicking out from defence was comical, if wasn't to an outnumber or a wrong option it was either too long or too short...

..oh  McIntosh picked a fine time to go back to his peeweak tackling of the previous two years....certainly wasn't alonein that regard but for a man of his size, strength & pace it's inexcusable...

Geelong always have our measure. they're too smart ., too tall, and too tough, exposed & punished our poor skill level and forced us to play on their terms....,  frankly Halfstep is kissed on the dick because if every other team woke up and realised the more more you pressure us the worse we'll play we'd have a top 4 draft pick sewn up &  Caracella would making himself comfortable in the big chair....and planning on what to do with North's first pick and Mason Wood....... :shh

Guthrie showed why I was hoping against hope that Geelong would put him on the table when they were after Deledio last year... :shh

Some bright spark on here said he was a soft dud a couple of weeks ago.
Can anyone remember who that was?
