Hawthorn, c/wood and Richmond are favored by there mates at HQ every year by giving them 7 or 8 home games in a row when every other team has to stuff about. There supporters dont give a toss about the other teams as long as there looked after thats all that matters. A huge example is this : West Coast won the 2018 GF, yet our first game this year was the longest trip in football to Brisbane. Tell me when ever has either of the 3 teams mentioned ever had to travel like that after winning a GF ?? NEVER. At the start of the 2018 season Hawthorn left Melbourne once in the first 8 rounds , this year Richmond got gifted 7 home games in a row at the end of the season WHY ???Imagine the cry’s and whimpering if the Eagles or Dockers got 8 games in a row at home , the tears would be worse than Noah’s flood. but its ok for the 3 teams though isn’t it – Narcissism at the highest level, bias and totally unfair. I couldn't give a rats how many members Richmond have and frankly if you do, you've been sucked in by the AFL/RFC publicity. There's a reason they don't separate their membership revenue from their merchandise sales in their annual report and that's because they don't want it to be obvious how many limited-access and Auskick memberships they sell. They also sought to increase membership by moving their training ground first to Craigieburn and the Cardinia - that's what a struggling club does, it's not something to be used as a blueprint by strong clubs. There's nothing wrong with Collingwood's membership numbers, we're still the biggest drawing club in the league on match day.
That's why I don't care how many members Richmond has - we're still #1 for BUMS ON SEATS despite them having 17k more members than us. That's why I said you got sucked in by the headline and your response didn't do anything to change my perception of that.
