So typical of @7AFL and @Stevo7AFL in their news story tonight. 18 clubs in the comp and of course they have to interview someone from their beloved Richmond. #youloverichmond #biasedreporting #17otherteams

And? Anything and everything has to involve Richmond. Other clubs input is of value but @7AFLand @Stevo7AFL
don't seem interested. Other clubs when they've been premiers never got the AFL and media love like Richmond.

Our guest this Friday is now a dual premiership player with the mighty @Richmond_FC. @JackRiewoldt08 has spanned 13 years and has an AFL Hall of Fame resume in the making. Hear how he has made himself into a leader on and off the field. Thanks once again to the team @NationalMake .

The answer is simple. There's too many Victorian teams.

We're in a 'national' competition and over half of the teams are from one state.
Quote from: Jack Hudson
Didn't say they should go.

The inclusion of Tasmania and another team would make it a 20-team league. That's more travel for these clubs, and there's a chance for a 19-week fixture.  That's a lot more equality than what we're currently getting.
Quote from: Jack Hudson
I think they could avoid a team having a seven-game run at the MCG going into finals.

This actually isn't a bad idea IMO. Just FO two useless teams like North + Saints to NT and Tas, merge GCS into them both so that their lists are half competitive. 8 Vic teams, 2 WA, 1 QLD (GC dying), 2 NSW, 1 NT, 1 Tas, 2 SA.

17 teams, just play 16 games each with a rotating bye and go straight to final 8. Half of the teams are dead in the water after mid-season anyway are just competing for better draft picks...

Essendon were the biggest club in the AFL in the 90s. Reason Collingwood and Richmond have a large member base is that their banwagoners. How many Tiger supporters were there in 2007? How many turned up to games?

Yep that's all you need to know about that mouthbreather.  :shh

As for all the provincial flogs - start your own stuffing comp then, more than happy to bring back the old VFL - you know that comp you all begged to join. :shh :shh

That Richmond doped their way ro two flags knowing there was no way the AFL would dare pull down another big team so soon after Essendon got caught.

Heard the latest rubbish from the @AFL.

In summary, WA and SA clubs to QLD, all Victorian and NSW clubs stay put. So, no home games for WA and SA sides, but home games for the rest. That's fair and equal for the #AFL. 2020 will be known as the most compromised season ever.
Quote from: MetalMilitia
Gil, has done it, made the Afl become the stuffing Vfl once again.....he can kiss my arse
Quote from: Daniel Best
Yep. I'm out. The Victorians will be happy, and that's all that counts for the @AFL.

I'm sure Richmond supporters will be peeed off at playing the remaining 16 games at the MCG.

And absolute joke. Just a cash cow now, a pathetic excuse of a competition.
Quote from: MetalMilitia
I hear ya, been watching the sports reports here in SA, reporting that they would be forced to relocate interstate etc not long after the "illegal" training hub the crows were spotted EVEN THOUGH here in SA we can gather in groups of 10, so the vics sooked about that
Quote from: Daniel Best
Well the Vic sides can't relocate, the players are far too soft for that. They need to be with their mums. They all sleep in bunk beds with the lights on.
Quote from: MetalMilitia
Cant play away from the MCG now
Quote from: John Mothershaw
Probably got Richmond already engraved on the 2020 Premiership cup.

Do these morons understand/ realise that it is the SA and WA governments and their refusal to give exemptions re travel is the reason their Clubs are heading to QLD. Not the AFL.

And in the case of SA, their blessed Adelaide Crows' actions that has impacted more than anything in that State?
