According to Ricky, Adelaide's much vaunted key forwards were nullified by thin air  .

Rance and Astbury swapped between Walker and Jenkins while Broad ran with Lynch. Clearly, Ricky also missed Rance's crucial 1-on-1 spoil on a leading Walker in the 2nd qtr that rebounded for Jack's goal and proved a turning point.

But hey Ricky, Hurley watching the ball continually go over his head in the Bombers EF flogging by the Swans makes him better than Rance dominating all 3 finals on the way to a premiership    .

He is actually pretty good at getting a bite. Let's face it, he doesn't believe his dribble anymore than we do, but he knows that upsetting Tigers fans gets him a lot of attention. And by rating Hurley as a footballer in any sense of the word he upsets everyone else including 80% of Essendon fans. Then he gains all the idiot fringe support from North supporters who desperately buy into his crap about anything Tigers to get solace on the fact that they couldn't get Dusty by offering the biggest contract in AFL history.

In all honesty, I actually think he supports the Tigers. He is like the 10 year old boy at school who teases a girl because he actually has a crush on her.

Had an argument with a mate over New Years, my position was that if the Tigers can win from 13th so can we ... My logic was if both lists were combined more Pies would make it than Tigers. Turns out I’m wrong, my team has 12 Tigers and 10 Pies, but we have better depth, leaving out Degoey, Varcoe, Crisp, WHE..they only miss Prestia.

One of my faves:

They have the two best players in the league in Martin and Rance, tapers off pretty quickly after that. Cotchin is faux-hard, And he may make our midfield but I’d much rather have Treloar and Adams on ball.
