Collingwood today trying to claim they never were after Lynch :lol.

First their footy manager Walsh on MMM said they never were. Then Eddie chipped in and claimed they only phoned Lynch once and left it there.

Yeah right! :rollin

Umm no it seems Colonwood are trying to rewrite history.
Buckley had numerous meetings with Lynch early in 2018.
They even tabled an offer more significant than ours.
How do I know Robbie D told me.
I knew Lynch was coming before we played that fateful Prelim against them.
I was with Robbie D.

How Liv feeds off Tom Lynch’s positivity

Richmond star Tom Lynch has copped plenty of flak for his on-field actions, but partner Olivia Burke is inspired by his positive attitude.

Lynch ready to ‘push the envelope’ again

Damien Hardwick encouraged his side to ‘push the envelope’ with its on-field aggression last year. And Tom Lynch isn’t about to change the way he plays.

What did we all think of Lynch's game today?

9 disposals (8k, 1h, 6c, 4u, 66.7% eff. )
7 marks ( 4 contested )
5 inside 50s
228 metres gained
3 frees against
6 score involvements
2 goals
1 behind

Warm up. We want everyone in 2nd gear and we can probably get them to move into 3rd by round 8, then 4th gear by round 16 and overdrive by the time we hit finals.

This system hasn’t let us down yet.

Solid. Would have been great if he'd kicked that last one.

Jack is a better forward in a lead/set shot sense. Or kicking goals in too for that matter.

Not that Lynch is bad at all!

Was much better today in the contest. Still not clunking contested pack marks as often as remember him doing in 2019 though. Also needs to stop giving away frees when he’s pinch hitting in the ruck in fwd50 otherwise get someone else to take them.

To be fair one of those was so soft.

Riewoldt is the one kicking the goals at the moment. That is what having two quality tall forwards is all about

Yes to all of the above. Powder dry until finals.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Granted he gives a few frees away

But struth it would be nice if he actually got given a few.... that are warranted
