Another bit of AFL media frog schpit.

I don't believe it for one moment.

I have spoken to Lynch quite a few times, and IMO is cut from the broad type of character. Very Humble and loyal.

That being said if there is any truth to this then i would ditch my club membership for next year.

I can accept bolton, baker and as much i dont like it Rioli but to trade out Lynch would be a disgrace especially knowing duds like Meehan who contributed to this are still there.

There is no way we should trade out Lynch who is required to teach guys like Bauer and Lefau. Especially to a club like Collingwood as well.

I've changed my tune on Lynch.

In months gone by I was of the opinion we should trade him if a decent offer came our way. That was before Bolton + Baker were mostly confirmed going. Don't give two stuffs about Graham and (hopefully, fingers crossed) Short. Baker I'm not overly pleased about. Would hate to lose Rioli and although I don't think Bolton is a leader at all he probably is our best player.

But now that we can see 3-4 players going as well as our retirements I don't see how we can lose Lynch.

We DESPERATELY need a new S&C coach who can actually get the poor bastard on the park for 2025.

Lynch is one of the true key power forwards in the league. Mongrel punt did a piece on lunch and basically said lynch and Hawkins are the only key forwards who actually take contested marks inside 50.

He allows us to make Hail Mary bomb it in 50 without looking plays because he can at least read the play and make a contest. He also has aggression at the footy which I think is missing in a lot of our forwards.

It’s not a coincidence the last time we made finals was the year he won the JDM and hailed 60+ goals and had a higher goal average than curnow. We gotta keep him at all costs and get him on the park

Not fussed either way tbh...even with the Magician finally out the door, really don't think we're gonna see much more of him as it is....if we can snag a second rounder then why not...can't help our structure much stuck in rehab..... :shh

I couldn’t stand another season where Kosi is our number one banana up forward.

He might be anyway if Lynch can't get on the park again.....even then Lefau & Fawcett  will hopefully be fit, then there's Bauer and who knows we might grab another exciting young KPF who'll hit the ground running....hell Ryan might even have a big pre-season and finally start to hit his straps.... :shh

Swap out our second rounder from Freo and Lynch to the Dees for their first rounder. Pay a million of his salary. Get another top 10 pick.

Would rather keep lynch tbh. Don’t think petracca wants to win wooden spoons for the rest of his career anyway

This Petracca for a key forward rumour is a Sam McClure story

He is saying Melbourne will only trade Petracca to Carlton for Harry McKay

Sam was on Footy Classified spruiking his "exclusive story" and said Curnow has already said "no way"

Sam even gave supposed details of what was said in Petracca's exit interview that took place at 12.30pm yesterday. If any part of what Sam alleges was actually said,  then I'd say there is major leak at the Melbourne Footy Club  :rollin

Keep Lynch as we need the structure he brings ( it has been sadly missed )

We also need to get him to 100 games. (11 more)

Even Petracca and his family have been quite clear about how unhappy they all are about his injury mismanagement.

He was sent back onto the ground with a ruptured spleen (these things bleed a LOT, very vascular), punctured lung and 4 broken ribs ffs. Clearly in so much agony that opposition players were worried about hurting him.

Clearly no love lost and he wants out.
