Lynch wasn't at the Collingwood game last night. He was celebrating a mate's birthday at the Sorrento Hotel.

Tiger legend’s word of warning on Lynch chase

RICHMOND legend Royce Hart has backed the club’s expected recruitment of Gold Coast forward Tom Lynch, but cautioned the Tigers to be wary of losing “heart and soul” players in the process.

The re-signing of Grigg and Houli shows we aren't losing premiership or "heart and soul" players.

By the way, this week would be great timing for Lynch to announce he's choosing Richmond  ;D.

Not really sure how anyone with any understanding of free agency could have ever thought that it would have worked out any other way. You would have to be very naive to believe that players would want to move from one lowly club to another, simply doesn't make any sense.

Free agency made perfect sense for the AFL.
They are a group whose sole focus is on money.
No surprise they would think the only motivation for players would be the amount of money they may make by moving.

They have continued to destroy grass roots football in their quest to get more and more money for themselves with no thought of what will happen in the future.
Changing the rules and fixture to ensure the broadcasters are happy are other indicators they have no vision.

Lynch was interviewed tonight on Ch 7 news.

One man who will no doubt keep a close eye on Friday night’s game is ex-Gold Coast captain Tom Lynch who is back home in Victoria ahead of an expected move to Richmond. @tombrowne7 caught up with Lynch today. #7AFL #7News

Only a nuffy would have criticised him last year. A real tosspot would have said Castagna was the better player

Also said Castagna was a good kick :lol :lol

GWS, of all clubs, complaining about us getting an unfair advantage by getting Lynch via free agency.

Tigers and GC still nutting a deal that keeps AFL happy , trade will be involved , names like Ellis and Miles being floated.

I'd assume that's Corey Ellis and Miles(?).

Interesting read that Hawks board.

Geez they are full of pooe.

Gaff is in Perth, not in Melb.

And they  are gonna get Wingard, Sheil, Gaff.

Wow how much cap do they have.
