Shorty making sure this year he's doesn't get dropped late in the season. Been on fire.

So apparently no prior opportunity doesn’t apply if you’re wearing yellow and black?
Pick the umpire pets club that has the best free kick differential compared to us which has the worst.

Quarter time

Richmond  5.2-32
Coll'wood   2.1-13

Goals: Short 2, Riewoldt, Castagna, Townsend.

On top in the last 15 mins. Makes a massive difference when you kick straight (yes Georgie).

Got to love those massive bombs from Shorty  :bow :clapping.

Half time

Richmond    5.2   8.3-51
Coll'wood     2.1   7.1-43

Goals: Short 2, Riewoldt 2, Martin, Castagna, Townsend, Caddy.

Thank gawd for that last second goal to Dusty. A crap last 10 mins. Lost too many 1-on-1s which we were winning in the first quarter. Dimma will give them a blast during the break.

ps. Umps wearing B&W. Head high tackles allowed against us  ::).

Dusty is getting his pants pulled down by Adams and the Pies players are letting him know all about it. Let’s hope he gets his head right and that late goal gives him some confidence.

As a team it would be nice to get some midfield dominance so we can take advantage of Howe not in defence. We should start to flex the muscle now.

Nank leading our clearances atm

Lambert has done nothing.
The club that keeps giving.

3/4 time

Richmond    5.2    8.3    11.6-72
Coll'wood     2.1    7.1    11.2-68

Goals: Short 2, Riewoldt 2, Martin 2, Castagna 2, Townsend, Caddy, Higgins.

We butchered chances inside our forward 50 while they couldn't miss (until that last second shot). We need to be smarter and cleaner going forward. Too many kicks forward ending up in Collingwood hands for rebounds off their HB line.

Agree look up not just kick in our 50 and take our chances.Midfield needs to regroup to to easy where is the pressure and tackling and drive.Dimma should give them a rocket.Defence been clumsy at times to.

The main positive today for mine was we won without our big guns having their usual influence. Cotch, Rioli, Rance and Dusty (aside from his 3 goals playing deep forward) were contained. Compare that to Collingwood who still lost despite Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Phillips, Adams & Thomas getting a stack of it.

Thought Broad & Astbury were our best today. Jack our best of those forward of the ball.

Collingwood certainly have that "Richmond 2017" feel about them . They looked ominous against North on the weekend . This is a real test on where we're at . Not sure if our run against witches hats on the weekend did us any good .
Must keep the MCG fortress record in tact .

The Pies still haven't beaten a quality team this year.
