We just gonna trade everyone who hasn't played regular senior footy of late? and for 4th rounders at best?

You're not wrong....and he should 've played before Baker at the very least..... :shh

Stengle doesn't have speed, nor endurance. RFC value both those skill sets very highly and unfortunately it's the future of football.
As we've seen with Higgins. There were times when you said "is he explosive enough"? The answer is no but he has elite endurance and his GPS figures are through the roof. Chicken has neither. Natural football player who 10 years ago would have had a magnificent career. He will simply be caught and tackled at the higher level. The game of football is the loser in this.

He looked up to the level in his two senior appearances last year..... endurance will come eventually even if he'll never be Tom Scully..., his pace is merely average , not slow and he has attributes we don't have enough of - good foot skills, decision making, goal sense , general footy nouse, composure and forward delivery..also like his abilty to stand up in and break tackles.... :shh

Would you give him a 3 year contract?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Agree. His composure was for all to see in that Port game and clearly has good goal sense. Should have been given an opportunity this year.

Adelaide’s pursuit of Richmond small forward Tyson Stengle continues.

The clubs continue to discuss a deal but have yet to come to an agreement.

The Crows believe South Australian Stengle, who has played just two AFL games in two years on the Tigers’ rookie list but has plenty of talent, is worth about a fourth-round draft selection.

They are confident a deal will get done.

Screw them a fourth rounder let's have a swap of picks in the second round or third round.

I’m a little confused as to how this hasn’t been done already.

Either we’re playing hardball (unlikely) or there’s something in the works we have to deal with first  :shh

Theres the other impending trades that both clubs have which will determine if and how the Stengle deal gets done.

TYSON STENGLE (Richmond)

No issues with the Tigers small forward getting to the Crows and joining Eddie Betts and new acquisition Shane McAdam.

A late pick will get him over the line.
