Think Lambert huge chance to get up next week for Adelaide match
Did many run throughs today wearing runners before training started
Went back in got boots on and joined in the Captains Run session
Would assume he would train again on Saturday morning and they assess again on Monday but real chance he plays against Crows
Nank is 3 weeks away
Jack back after the bye
Cal Moore gets moonboot off next week and is probably 4-5 weeks away
Short back training next week with main group

Thanks Jackstar. Appreciate the insight.
Burge's most recent injury update was very ambiguous re Lambert. Sounded like they decided to rest him for two games and he's now right to go and yet here we are with another game missed and various reports circulating that he may miss another. Very disappointing to lose a player of his importance for 4 weeks with minor achilles tendinopathy

Lambert wasn’t seen at closed session yesterday
And was doing straight line running before the gates opened before  training started today
Was running wearing runners and about 70% speed
Had a long chat with Burge and walked inside as the others started training
Came back wearing boots 15 mins later and trained with main group
Looked fit as so no issue with fitness
Would assume trains sat morning at 8am and they asses next Monday and make a decision then
Next week is a Thursday Night game so that may become an issue ?

I heard today on SEN that Tom Lynch is the only tiger to play every game this season, is that true?

I think we have the lowest amount to have played every game, but there is more than Tom Lynch. Prestia for one.
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

 Marlion Pickett     Finger     7-9 weeks
 Alex Rance     Knee     Season
 Jack Riewoldt     PCL     3-5 weeks
 Jack Ross     Ankle     3-5 weeks
 Jayden Short     Elbow     2-3 weeks
 Nick Vlastuin     Hip     Test
Updated: Tuesday, June 11

Early prognosis

Richmond's injury list is now at an equal season-high of 12 players, seven of whom played in the 2017 flag as well as first-choice player Short. Martin and Vlastuin need to get through training this week, while Brandon Ellis (groin) is available. With the bye next week Astbury and Lambert will be held out for at least another match to give them a solid break. Short is now running without his elbow brace. – Sarah Black.

I think we can start asking the question about what our pre season program was like

I'm starting to think it's more than bad luck.

Most of our early season injuries were structural/collision - Rance, Jack, Short & Ross. Moore and English also fit this category. So they are all plain bad luck. The more recent ones over the past month have been more soft tissue injuries.

Two years of a manic, highly physical game style probably has something to do with it as well... :shh
