Looks like it may be easier for us this trade period to score (a) decent future pick(s) to have the draft points ready next year for Maurice jnr.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Twomey said he expects to see a number of clubs offering up draft picks for next year in trades, but due to a lack of clarity around the draft, clubs would be reluctant to accept them.

As well as being a weaker class compared to this year’s, the 2020 National Draft could be the most compromised since the expansion teams entered the competition.

“The Next Generation Academy is really coming to fruition; a lot of father-sons are available next year as well as the northern academy.

we wont need many points for MRJ

We now have picks 19, 38, 39, 40, 74, 76, 94 ...

Interesting to see what we do with the 3 late second rounders?

We should bundle 2 of them up with pick 19 and Butler for St Kilda's pick 6 and 58

38 39 & 40 worth the equivalent of something like 12.

Trade them to someone looking for academy or father son points.

Lol. Saints are using pick 6 for Hill. Slight fact you're ignoring.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

And how dumb are they to do that? No wonder they only have one flag.

GWS is the one we need to target.

Get pick 12 for 38, 39 and 40.

They may have to do a Sydney and trade out 18, use later picks on Green, then trade that pick back in after their selection.

Do you think we might trade out of this draft? Not totally, but at least our 1st rounder for a future 1st round pick?

I’d have thought a few clubs might be interested in securing our first rounder to use in other trades (Sydney or West Coast for example), and a second first rounder next year looks appealing.

Keep 19.

Try and trade 38, 39 and 40 GWS for 12.

Go to the draft with 12 and 19 if possible otherwise just keep our picks and take our 4 picks inside 40.

So we trade 38,39,40 for GWS 12 and 18

Then two days later trade back 18 for 101

Yep, as soon as they get Green, live trade 18 back.

The word is Maurice Junior is a long way behind and could be at best a rookie pick

Not questioning anyone here, but where are people hearing the downward trends on MRJr from?
