I think internally the club rates Dow - but he had a real stinker on the weekend. His stats were terrible.
I think he still needs a block of games because the club desperately needs to integrate the next generation of players .

Got torn a new one on Saturday, but I reckon it will do him some good. Rowell pushed him around like a man v toddler, showed what he needs to work on i.e. getting weight on and holding your ground in the contest.

Yep was arse but people expecting a 22 year old twig to carry the midfield while  a three time premiership player,  the reigning B&F winner and a 150 gamer built like a tank all bludged and ran one way need to give themselves uppercuts....they've also forgotten how ordinary & easily pushed around Edwards was at the same point in his career...was also a terrible kick (wasn't called Shank for nothing) with no right foot  who got  caught with the ball multiple times every game and was a speed hump in defence....and no I'm not suggesting Dow will eventually reach the level he did or even half that but then how many thought Edwards would apart from Mr. Magic? :shh

Hard to believe all the yap about TDow during pre season. Has not improved at all from what I saw today. Picked out a handful of port players with some very average possessions. The Argy bargy with butters was embarrassing. Just better to focus on levelling the contests. Especially against a player like butters. Got sucked in hard.

Yep never been fully convinced however have been giving him the benefit of the doubt so far this year after some promising signs late last year and in the hit & giggle games this year but can't defend that - horrid... >:(
