Jack’s unfollowed him.
Something in this?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Perhaps someone close to him has insisted he pull the pin?
Not sure this is a finished story...

Jack's unfollowed him where? He's still following him on Instagram. Looks like nobody is following him on Twitter

The vice-captain retiring at 30, with 2 years left on his contract, in December and when the team is the best in the comp probably hasn't gone down too well.

Its not a very Richmond man thing to do

Well his team mates aren’t exactly singing his praises for following his heart...

It is what it is

Not sure why people can't just accept it and move on

Looking for things that aren't there. Why? Because it is easier to accept?

Agree 100%

Time for everyone to move on now. Footy is just Footy and Alex has called time. His life and his choice. Im hoping Noah Balta can ve our next Alex Rance.

Bit like the chopsticks episode. Let's be honest here, you wouldn't have a clue and neither would we. If someone wants to question it like you did, why can't they.

It IS what it is which is why I’m asking the question.
Why wouldn’t his teammates pay tribute to his career - even Adam Trololol called him the GOAT.
Just seems a little odd is all...

I thought some of Gale's words were very interesting and empty.

Feeling I get is that the club isn't happy - maybe about the timing of the retirement, the nature of it etc. He's fit, contracted, club in the premiership window etc.

Huge assumption but it wouldn't surprise me if Rance had asked for 6-12 months off during his contract and been denied so he retired.

Argh... good ole chopsticks. Not sure of the relevance but I'll humour you any way. Seems People love bringing this up and accuse me saying things I didn't say. And BTW  I have no idea what you mean by "wants to question like you did" so whatever

As for your you "wouldn't have clue" comment I'll let that one slide through to keeper ..again whatever  ::)

Sorry but I really can't answer would like to but I can't because as it just been pointed out to me I am clueless
