Ralph Malph just said on AFL Tonight the Gold Coast are no longer chasing Broad but still want Markov....their pick 5 is also on the table for either a gun inside mid or a ruck-forward #Oleg&CCJforPhillipsorHollands....:shh

At least six clubs are interested in out-of-contract Adelaide star Brad Crouch, despite his police run-in that has seen him banned for two games.

https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-trade-whispers-2020-news-rumours-out-of-contract-players-free-agents-biggest-trade-names-adrian-dodoro-essendon-adam-saad-carlton-brad-crouch/news-story/13fe7b30ca5bc94802cccae9f5cc5082

In exchange for Adam Saad, Dodoro asked Carlton for one of Charlie Curnow, Harry McKay or Sam Walsh and then when that was knocked back he asked for Carlton’s first pick plus Tom De Koning. All suggestions were given short shrift by Carlton list bosses, who believe their existing first-round draft pick – presently eight – on its own is slightly too much for the talented defender.

Carlton have explored options with Geelong about splitting their first-round pick – Carlton trading their early first-round pick to Geelong for two of the three later first-round picks the Cats have in this year’s draft courtesy of the future picks they received for losing Tim Kelly.

The Blues also have open to them the option of trying to push Saad through the pre-season draft if a trade cannot be achieved with Essendon.

But does give great comic relief during trade time  :rollin

Its pretty funny what the Dildoro try's on.  It is leaked very quickly these days though which makes him look like a tool and hence its clear no one has much time for his antics these days.  This info was very likely leaked for Saad's manager who would have been sitting in on the talks

Sam Edmund on SEN:

Nathan Broad and Oleg Markov (Richmond)

“Nathan Broad is currently unsigned and considering his options.

“I think this is the moment in his career where if he can get a pay day, he would. But he is wrestling between the ongoing success at Richmond or getting a bit more cash elsewhere.

“I think his camp were a little surprised when Gold Coast changed tact when it emerged, they were more interested in Oleg Markov than Nathan Broad.

“Markov is being tempted by Gold Coast.”

Sam McClure on Jack Higgins:

The charasmastic goal sneak is aware he may be traded.

St Kilda is one of the clubs to have touched base.

Dodoro at it again, this time with Brisbane over Daniher.

... sources said a similar collection of bold targets were put across the Lions’ desk despite Daniher’s restricted free agency status.

The Saints don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick after their 1st at #15. Their next pick isn't until #58. Unless they trade for a middle round pick or offer a future one, it sounds like they are trying to get another freebie off us with Higgo like they did with Butler last year.

As for Dodoro, what him and his ego hold up another trade period for everybody else trying to be the faux tough guy :facepalm. No wonder Essendon is a basketcase.

What's he worth? Bombers would probably pay him more than Brisbane so there's surely a chance they'll try to match/force a trade.

Next minute wants 3 of:
2020 1st pick
2021 1st pick
Harris Andrews
Charlie Cameron
Lachie Neale

For someone who hasn't had a proper season since 2017 and played just 15 games in the past 3 years because his body continually breaks down, I wouldn't pay more than a 3rd rounder for Daniher.

He's a restricted free agent who wants out of his club for the second year in a row. If Essendon want to keep him for another year and waste a spot on their list then that's their problem. Brisbane hold the upper hand here. Dodoro, of course, is asking the Earth again because he had a chance last year to get a top 10 pick plus something else for Daniher and he knocked it back  :wallywink.

If Essendon are offered one of Brisbane's late first rounders (#18 or #19) or they gain a second rounder (early #20s) in compo they should take it and stop wasting everyone's time. The latter would still be a joke given we received just a 3rd rounder in compo for a dual-premiership player who never missed a game in B.Ellis.

Although Joe Daniher is a free agent, there is growing expectation the two clubs could be forced to do a trade, if the Bombers matched any deal from the Lions. With a contract of around $600,000 per year, it will likely equate to a selection at the end of the first round, currently Pick 20. However, with the Bombers likely to want more than that selection for Daniher, the Lions would need to give a better trade offer if a free agency bid is matched.
