A bit of a dull second half once Cahill  and Kennedy were substituted and we lost our height advantage up front but 3-0 is a good win in anyone's language. Next up China away at altitude on March 26 which will be tougher.

Aussies had the best two chances of the game and just for the record in my opinion was not a penalty. Still a quality result for the Socceroos.

We're use to dodgy penalties  .

As long as the Socceroos win at home and at least draw away then they'll get through to the next stage. So on track so far.

Socceroos lost 0-1 to Iraq in Dubai early this morning. The Iraqis are apparently in trouble for charging Aussies $100 for a ticket while only charging Iraqis $6.

The last 2 games the Aussies have played crap. Lucky not to lose the first Iraq game as well that they won. On current form they'll be lucky to qualify. I guess that's what you deserve when you aim for draws instead of wins  .
