RFC please send Schulz to the Doggies.

Schulz is going nowhere with us. The dogs are desperate. If we chuck in our 2nd round pick or our priority pick we could upgrade to the dogs first pick which will be about pick 7.

Can't agree, ramps. There's still doubt over how good Hughes and Reiwoldt will be, and key forwards don't grow on trees. We'll keep Schulz. His best footy is yet to come.

The Club has said Sarge is a required player but it wouldn't surprise me if we went for something like that in trade week. The doggies would have to agree though and you'd reckon they'd prefer a proven performer like Fev.

If sarge played on friday night he would have dominated, the delivery was absolutely spot on  :clapping

There are a number of players that shouldn't be on AFL lists Jack - can think of another big key position player at another club that was a higher draft pick than Jay who shouldn't be on a list  :shh ;) ;D

Agree bluey_21

The dud I was thinking of was K Bradley - no 6 pick in the draft

this isnt just a debate about if he comes good or not, its about rectifying other problems (full back- rance), maybe about getting another player who can bring other players into the game more (masten). Looking forward we still have Richo Hughes and Riewoldt. Who knows what we may take in this draft and next year I dont see us improving much - so we will get another early pick.

Richo isn't going to be around for too long. 2 years max and when he is gone what do we do?

Hughes, Riewoldt and Schulz to me sounds like a good 3 prong tall forward line.

And anyways, if Schulz is as crap as you are making him out to be I very much doubt he will get us an upgrade which would enable us to get a Rance or Masten

I never said he was crap, im just saying that hes not doing anything for us and he could be value elsewhere and we could find value as well in a player somewhere else.

If Fev leaves Carlton and lets say he does not go to the Dogs who are looking for a forward as McDougall has not lived up to their expectations. We can use trade Schulz as trade bait to get an outside midfielder in Giansiracusa from the Dogs. We already have Foley as one and with Cogs coming back next year we'll have 2 and perhaps with Polo 3. I think Gia would be a classy acquisition for us and he is also a great finisher and would complement the others in our midfield.
