Granted it was only a practice match against Frankston but at least it's pleasing to see talls in our bests especially Postie.

Thanks to bg25 for the scores  :cheers. She also said Dea was okay and Taylor was quiet.

The people of Frankston upheld their standing in society yesterday with another polished performance, what a bunch of FERALS.

The seniors was a very rough game with lots of fighting.

Matt Dennis was great with 5 goals and Tuck smashed them out of the middle in the second half.

That loud moron up the back behind the interchange gate needed a gag and/or some decent material. Apparently a bloke was at Polly about being hit by trams.  >:(

Matt Dennis - is he the one who played for Hawthorn in 1998-99?
I thought he looked younger than 31yo, if it is.

If it's another Matt Dennis do you know how old he is? He has some talent.

Thanks.  :)

Matty Dennis played at Maribyrnong Park last year.
He is not the same who played at Hawthorn.
Matty is 23.
He is 202cm,but moves like a whippet and is getting better with each game.

Practice Match Vs. Frankston 27/3

Coburg:                1.0.6          3.4.22          11.7.73        14.11.95

Frankston:            2.5.17         8.6.54            9.6.60         11.7.73

Goals: Matt Dennis 5, Andrew Browne 3, Tom Lucin 2, Jake King 2, Angus Graham, Graham Polak 1

We were not switched on for the first 2 quarters and if not for Frankston’s inacurracy in the first quarter,we could have been further behind. The boys regrouped after the halftime break and we kicked 8 goals to 3 goals.

Best Players: Jason Morgan, Shane Tuck, Jeromey Webberley, Justin Kahlefeldt.

Reserves:

Coburg: 13.14.92  to Frankston: 5.2.32

Next week:

2 games against Williamstown April 3rd at Whiiten Oval: 11am & 2pm

Graham Polak was one of four key Richmond players to get through unscathed in the Coburg Tigers' win over Frankston.

Shane Tuck, Matt White and Jake King also impressed Coburg coach David Newitt.

"I was very happy with Shane Tuck in the second half. Tuck, Matthew White and Jake King stood up in the second half and showed great leadership and used the footy really well," Newitt said.

Very happy to see Browne and Webberley doing well.  I said Browne was already better than Graham 12 months ago and I still believe that, while I'm tipping Webberley to do very well in the seniors when (not if) he gets his chance.

Would love to see Webberley debut against the Dogs and Browne come in also to see what he can do in the ruck against Minson and Hudson.
