Pretty sure it's something to do with the player's Conditions of Employment WAT.  The clubs must request leave of the AFL to play someone and they must have a valid reason to do so - interrupted pre-season due to injury being the most common.  I might be wrong but I think that's what the go is.

Practice Match Vs Collingwood 19/3

Coburg                            3.2.20            5.2.32          9.3.57          11.4.70

Collingwood                    5.2.32          11.4.70        17.7.109        19.8.122

Goals: Tom Lucin 4, Nick Westhoff 2, James Lawton 2, Matt Dennis, James Saville, Nic Cattapan

After kicking the first goal within the first 2 mins, the rest of the day was playing catch up football.

With this being only our second serious hit out for the year there still is a little more work to do on the track.

Some really good signs from young Calder Cannons player Tom Lucin who is quickly showing that he will be a good contributor to us this year.

Shane Piuselli also looks like he is settling well after coming from Tassie and his in and under play was good today.

Other good players were Matt Smith, Nick Carnell, Hamish Dahl and Adam Meroli.

Next Saturday the 27th March we play 2 games down at Frankston starting at 11.00am.

Both are correct, high street runs along the south edge of the ground and the corner of young and plowman
the northeast corner.
