SIX ex-Burgers now play for West Adelaide under Andy Collins. The latest being Travis Ronaldson, Jarrod Silvester and Nat Caruso.

According to the Carlton forums the Bullants should have had the game wrapped up by early in the third quarter but kicked poorly for goal. Coburg then rallied to get within a kick at 3/4 time. Bullants kicked away in the last quarter. The Bullants had 15 Carlton-listed players. Apart from Tuck I'm not sure who  played for Coburg from Richmond.

"Tempers flared at times in the heat, and players from both sides were completely knackered at the end. Each team was running out of players to rotate off the bench so everyone agreed to a shortened last term."

"One player for Coburg I watched with interest today was Shane Tuck. He's very good at the stoppages and winning the contested ball. Is clearly out of favour at Richmond. I suppose he's the same type of player as Hadley (not a great kick and not a lot of handball receives). But when we went for Brock last October, I wondered at the time if we might have been better off hanging on to pick #11 and giving up a late draft pick for Tuck instead? I guess time will tell..."

Just a further update on yesterday's game.

While I wont comment on RFC players,we had Rance,McMahon,Contin,Graham,Webberley,Post,King,Dea and White.

Hicks,Westhoff,O'Reilly and Grimes played Reserves.

As far as Coburg players go,there were impressive efforts from Sam Power,Just Kahlefeldt in the midfield, and James Lawton and Luke geister up forward. Both hit the packs hard but we lacked crumbers to capitalise on them bringing the ball to the ground.
Jason Morgan was solid up back as usual.
We played catch up footy most of the day,but got to within a goal at the final break.
There was a fair bit of cramping in the final quater and we struggled to have any impact in the last quarter.
Jono Morris plyed only 4 mins and that affected our balance in defence, but overall it was a pleasing hit out.

The reserves had a comfortable win and most of the Calder Cannons boys were good as was ex West Coburg player Abdi Fitaax.

We play Collingwood on Friday night at 5pm at Gosch's.This will mainly be CFC players partaking but RFC may choose to play certain players if they feel specific players need a run

Cheers for the report CFC.

Is the list of best players the actual best or only the best Coburg-only guys? Not great news for Richmond if not one RFC player made the bests  :-\. I was hoping Postie, Contin and Dea had good games to push for RFC selection.

I heard 2nd hand that Contin sat on the bench for most of the game  ???

I can only guess that it was a hit out for the Burger boys instead of RFC

Jack...it is not that any RFC players were good or bad,it is just that I have to be careful about what is put on here as they are our aligned partners and all we are trying to do is keep you advised of things that Coburg are involved with.
I have no problem advising you of the best players, but no comments will be made as to any "bad" performances by individual players.

If however you want to know what RFC players were ok,Tuck,White and Webberley were probably the best.

Contin played 65 mins out of out a possible 110 mins,so he should have played around 85 mins.
