Jack looked a bit schizenhausen until the later half.  Hopefully he was just a bit off his tucker for this game.  Good that we can still bring a game home like that with players going down and some having a dirty night though.

Had a really off night. Kicking was poor and shocking hand pass to Cotchin. Hopefully he has a blinder in the grand final

Agree

Though he did keep trying, didn't drop his head but was very poor

I thought he was a 2/10. Jack was schizen last night. He needs to step up next week and put in a big performance.

He wasn’t great but has runs on the board. This is the exact reason why we have Lynch. Coming back from injury and probably still a little rusty especially with finals footy he was just a bit all over the shop last night. But jack being the professional he is I know he would be upset with his performance and he will want to be firing for the granny

Jack was a bit off his best last night, but his tap down out of the pack to Dusty in the goalsquare was one of the most beautiful team things I've ever seen!  Absolute poetry!     :clapping   :gotigers

I know it’s part of our style but he tried the flick/tap on too many times last night. It obviously worked beautifully for Dusty’s second goal but sometimes it’s just better to take possession.

Will bounce back next week like the champion he is.

Yep, the one to Dusty was beautiful and he got no credit whatsoever from the gimps in the commentary box. But the rest of them were bordering on ridiculous, was like he'd lost confidence to do anything other than bang the ball out of the air in hope

Not his best game but he still had a crack and gave Lynch some room and intern some one in one contests that ended up in goals and a win.

Jack is a star and working well with Lynch since he has been back.

Jack is just about the biggest reason we are where we are as a club.

'Statistically not great': Riewoldt reacts to pressure

There was a time when an off night would have haunted Jack Riewoldt, but the Richmond spearhead says his low key outing against Geelong won't be a factor when he runs out for Saturday's AFL grand final.

Riewoldt had one handball before halftime and didn't kick a goal in the preliminary final win over Geelong at the MCG on Friday night.

But he supplied the goal assist of the season in a pivotal third quarter when he set up Dustin Martin and is confident he has enough big-game experience to step up against GWS.

"Statistically, I didn't have a great game and in the past I could've got down about that but I still had an impact and did some things," Riewoldt told Fox Footy's AFL 360 on Tuesday night.

"I played pretty well grand final day two years ago.

"I don't focus on the fact that I didn't kick very well or I didn't get many touches because if I focus on that then I'm going in with a pretty poor mindset.

"I know I can play well on the big stage ... I know I can play my role for the side.

"I've got no qualms going into the grand final... I'm so excited and really confident."

Jack Riewoldt – 8

After barely touching it against Geelong last week, Riewoldt bounced back with a bang, kicking five goals. Was the recipient of a dubious free kick to get going in the second quarter but then led Phil Davis to the ball repeatedly to have three by half-time. Iced his match with two more in the final quarter.

JACK RIEWOLDT 8

Ripped the Grand Final open like a bag of potato chips with three goals in the second term. Clutched daughter Poppy, who was born at the start of the season, on the siren. Boy, won’t cousin Nick be jealous of Jack’s medals at Christmas?
