Should they have sealed to game first before getting Jack to his Coleman target?

Probably should be the only Coleman medalist not to make the AA

Absolutely, that was the plan  ;D

if he had of kicked straight,we would have

No if that dud McGuane who ran into an open goal early in the last kicked it from 5 out then we would have.

Anyway well done to Jack. He gets to ride around on Grand Final Day pre game on a Toyota Hilux. ;D

If Port were awarded that goal in the forward line that wasn't touched, we would have and should have lost.  Umpires robbed port all day.

McGuane still kicked two goals and took some great marks.  What about the dud efforts of Ohanlon, Nahas, Astbury, Ellis, Martin, Hellbig, Deledio, Newman....  Could go on..  If you want to blame someone for the draw, blame Hardwick.  Dud match day coach.  Should get the sack.  Newman announcing giving up the captaincy before the game.  Selfish....

Good to see Reiwoldt back at full forward and not being lost up the ground.  Thanks Hardwick for two years of stuffing him around.

Gotta be joking about Riewoldt playing up the ground. Bloke spends more time in the 50 than any other player in the comp

Perhaps it's just me but I was amazed at the reaction of the crowd when Jack kicked the Coleman goal

We were still behind, 2 goals for memory and sorry but I just couldn't get excited about that goal.

For me the win was the most important thing and we didn't get it

But congrats Jack

BTW I reckon if you asked him jack would have preferred a win rather than the Coleman

Ooh that was me, i was carrying on like i won the lotto   :lol

A small victory would of covered over our ineptness on the day.

Yes I wanted to win but Jack was easily the highlight if we couldn't of put that rabble away by at least 10 goals.

First option was to continually look sideways then back instead of backing ourselves to cream this mob, which "top" sides would try and do! Reminded me of Wallace circle work! Was quite horrible to watch!

Lack of depth cost us the match.  The top sides have better depth. Simple as that.

Malcolm Blight will be presenting Jack his Coleman medal on Grand Final day.

Tony Jewell will be presenting the Jock McHale medal to the winning coach.
