You should get a job as a forward scout.  ;)

Can safely say that Stevens and Simpson will be tagged.( Doubt whether Tambling will get the job though)
Lappin will be closely checked. ;)

Agree about Lappin. Even when we totally annihlated them that time he still kicked 5 goals when moved forward. I reckon Sugar will get the job Stevens as mentioned. Polo for Simpson.     Tambling will be let free to cut loose. The Blues will have to tag him and Lids.

Apparently the Roos haven't lost a round 1 game in 5 years or something like that. Big outsiders against the Pies too. Similar situation for the Swans v Eagles. Sydney are clear favourites  but are usually slow out of the blocks. Round 1 is always hard to predict.

I don't see why everyone is so worried about Carlton  :sleep

One half of their list consists of dudd, a vast proportion of them are over-rated, and they only have a few players of genuine threat. Murphy, Stevens and Fevola.

Let me give a run down.

Firstly, Cameron Cloke and Ackland are the most laughable rucking combo I have seen in ages. Patto could rip through them both with his eyes blindfolded.

Secondly, their team hasn't improved too much at all from last year. They have only really added Gibbs to their firsts team, and IMO he just isn't ready yet (must be given his time), contrary to how Robert Walls and the Channel 10 commentary team (pardon the language) have had their hands on their d!cks while talking about him. I could count how many possessions he's had during the NAB cup using just my hands and my feet.

thirdly, Carlton are pretty much a three man team as I said above. Nullify Stevens, Murphy and Fevola and they crumble like the rabble they are. Sugar will make Stevens look second rate, Polo will go on Murphy and have a great duel, and Gaspar can shutdown Fevola.

Meanwhile Lids, Foley, Tambling, Raines and the Bowdens can run amok and set us up for a great season.   :thumbsup

A sms-er on SEN claims he played indoor soccer with Fev last night and his knee is fine?
