* Lyon loved the win and the efforts of our small forwards (showed Gordon's goal in the last). To go over to Adelaide, be headed and then comeback and win showed real character. The frustrating thing is where was this earlier in the year. Gives credence to Maric's comments about standards being poor at the start of the year. Caro said she's not so sure about the "poor standards" line as Richmond was a team looking for answers to what went wrong and the club has given about 5 different excuses yet Ivan's comments were the one everyone jumped on. Lyon replied he listens only to what the players say and they said standards were poor.

* Caro and Lloyd said it was our best win. Caro added earlier in the season Richmond were unwatchable but now they are playing exciting footy to watch.

* Lloyd disagreed with the points in Lyon's article as the main reasons why we struggled earlier in the year. Lloyd blamed the change in gamestyle and so the blame goes on Hardwick for that.

* Hutchy said the tough decisions (on the list) still have to be made at the end of the season.

* They asked each other if the Swans would rest players against Richmond in round 23. Lloyd said you rest genuinely sore players but aside from that you don't fool around with form going into the finals. Caro added Richmond has to beat St Kilda first in Lenny Hayes' final game in Melbourne and who beat Freo.

What was Garry's line on Melbourne?

Blackest day for the club in a long time, worse loss in recent times. Cannot defend it any way shape or form. Supports Roos but blamed the players, suggested they've given up on the season and are happy with their "improvement" this year. Questioned how much they've actually improved.
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

Yes blackest day in a long time, since Round 2 last year when they lost by 148 points to Essendon. :lol :rollin :lol

What a Hairy Malaka.

Melbourne has 5 of the blackest day you can imagine each season.

5 real black days.

About half a dozen dark dark grey days.

With the rest including a few wins and a few games of WGAF.

On now.

Lyon began by saying they are eating humble pie (after the show replayed all their comments about us from earlier in the year when we were struggling).

Caro said Football needed a bit of romance and Richmond delivered it.
