Jordy repays the faith (AFL)

JORDAN McMahon knows better than most the pressure that comes with expectation.

McMahon was traded from the Bulldogs to Richmond for a second-round pick last summer in a move that raised eyebrows among clubs that place an increased value on draft picks.

While McMahon knows all eyes are on him to validate the decision, he says he doesn’t have sleepless nights thinking about satisfying the Tiger fans.

A few loads of chicken poo in the middle of the night in his driveway might have him thinking otherwise.
Which I'm not advocating by the way lol

I like Jordy and was pleased to see his work rate and him tackling hard. With the added space and time he has recieved over the last two weeks with our improved game style, he has been able to use his foot skills more effectively.

I think we may actually be praising the club for this trade by the end of the year. :pray

Wishful thinking...probably  :) but going on the last two weeks he has been an asset rather than a hinderance. Considering we've only played five games he is almost at a 50% strike rate   :shh

He has a long way to go before I think we made the right decision about trading away our No. 19 pick but he is on the right track.

Lets hope his form continues and even improves. Fingers crossed.

Only if Jake King tackles Sanchez at the end of season footy trip and waxes that bloody mustache off.

sure he made some mistakes, a fair few of them not his fault as he was given the ball when he was hot.

he wasnt alone, and other players made many mistakes too.

but we only lost by 2 goals against the inform team of the comp! an honorable loss , we hate them but they sure as hell are better than getting thumped.

they missed alot of goals but were forced wide, bad kicking = bad footy

we are doing alot better than what many "experts" tipped and there were so much positives today to get sooky over the negatives

this time last yr we would have been thumped

Bump ::)

You're being silly Jack.

Rather than bump, it should be a missed tackle for Jordy
