Credit where it's due. Alex had the better of Brown tonight for mine and did his job keeping Brown to just 2 goals.

Was immense tonight.

No need to go off and label him a superstar, but just very very very pleasing seeing that along with his performance against Essendon 4 games ago that he can put in multiple performances like that within a month of footy.

Has ticked teh right boxes for his development this year. Hoping that he can keep it going into pre season and improve again net year and become a really really good defender.

Would have made 2-3 goal saving spoils. Brown doesn't miss many shots and Rance made some ripper spoils.

He's going alright, had a couple of good weeks, is a bit up and down but this is normal for a kid, great job tonight on Brown, no one saw it comming, most commentators thought Brown would tear us apart, well Rance took the points. Rance hasn't made it yet but he is looking the goods needs to continue his present application for the rest of the year, experience will stablise him.

I didn't say it was?

Did you even read my post? He was BOG against Essendon and was top 5 tonight. Rance is tracking well. No need to get upset with every 2nd game where he doesn't play well, he's developing in leaps and bounds.

Rance would be a handy 3rd defender. Nick Maxwell type player.

Not really sold on having him as a KP Backman. Grimes is a player. Need to find another KP backman and a big big bodied one to replace McGuane and have all 3 playing together and I think we'd have a reasonable defence.

looks like a fair dinkin pure chb.

Don't get much more key forward than johno brown.

no longer do i have my heart in mouth when he has the ball. his disposal is now quite solid. his improvement has been great.

His kicking over 30 to 40 metres to a player out wide has improved enormously. Kicking has improved out of sight from the start if his career

He is coming on in leaps and bounds.  Agree Bents, sure is making a case for being a key defender.

Becoming more consistent, with gap between best & worst narrowing rapidly.

Excellant 2nd efforts, and decision making on the improve. Disposal needs continual improvement.

We saw the players getting onto the team pass and Mini-me thinks Rance is a bit of a spunk yells out to him "love ya Rance" to which she was rewarded with a lovely smile.  She then wished him a speedy recovery and got another smile and a thanks.  Made her night.
