Maybe they pushed him too hard in the preseason, prehaps we should have had the Carlton approach with our midfielders instead of that game against GC where we played the lot of them....and he did only miss one game in the presseason didn't he??

He just hasn't picked up where he left off last year, I think he may have to shed a couple of kilo's more, instead of being so bulky, maybe streamlining him would speed him up a bit...just a thought.
I don't think speed is his issue, have a look at his burst from the middle in the 3rd.

Fitness on the other hand can be improved. Just think he is out of form at the moment, but oozes class when he gets going.  :cheers

Yeah would have to agree, fitness does need to improve and defensive side of his game.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

He's so good he can pull poo off without even trying.
Unfortunately this s a sign of his inherently casual nature which could be the thing that makes or breaks him.
Could be better than Judd.

IIRC there was a comment from Dimma, i think in his after-Carlton press conference that they may have been running him too long and they would monitor his time on ground more conservatively. Suggests that either the fitness staff were asleep at the wheel or the coaching staff were not listening. Good to hear anyway and Saturday was better. Mind you it was helped a lot by the second tier standing up so well.

Reckon he turned the corner in the second half. My money is on him having an impact this week against the cats. This kid will be one of the biggest matchwinners/gamebreakers in the afl if he keeps his head on his shoulders. From what Ive heard hes almost maniacal in his quest to keep improving both with training and learning. Off his own bat he goes and watches games live specifically to see how elite midfielders from other clubs work and where they run. Having a bad patch but he'll come good

Just re-watched the third quarter of Dees match again on the AFL site. After Dusty kicked his running goal from outside 50, as he turned and celebrated he grabbed the guernsey to show everyone. The bloke bleeds the footy club. Tiger for life  :gotigers

Exactly Brad Green kicking pissy little goals when the team in 15 goals up and tugging at the emblem of a jumper is akin to watching your mates getting into a brawl and then saying did you see when we backed them into the corner and they ran off.
Brad Green = Downhill skier.

Brad Green does not have one molecule in his body similar to Dusty's.

It's that simple Spud
