Do Bonds and Puma require to him give interviews where he answers personal questions or badger him about his playing future? Have they spread rumours about him & his family and gone through his bins? Falsely accused him of assaulting & groping women? :shh

No longer with puma after the stopped making hid favourite boots. He flicked them back in 2020

As for Bonds, yeah be does do promos for them which includes an interview about what a great brand Bonds is. It appears on their socials

Yeah but it's all heavily scripted and rehearsed and they're not asking about his dad, what he thinks of Yze or whether or not he's going to Gold Coast and casting aspersions on his social activities....and they're not making him do it straight after a game as he's walking off the field... :shh

i think there is a big difference as to what bonds ask him vrs what these imbeciles ask him, or do behind is back to get a headline.

He owes them absolutely nothing. To the fans well that is different.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Signs a contract
Get paid mighty well for it
As part of that contract there are conditions
These are agreed to by the AFLPA

Break that, then get fined

So yes , as part of what he agrees to there are obligations

So yes, he does “owe them” because he signed on a very well paid dotted line

He’s obviously happy to get fined .. end of story really I guess

He gets paid to play football,  not to sell his personal life to the world , as if the germs wouldn’t badger him about his father and intentions for the future , I’m glad he is making a stand , no one owns his privacy , they pay him to play football !

He gets paid to play football

Absolute rubbish if you think it’s that simple

Do you think contracts don’t have clauses in them for extra obligations

Example - be available X amount of times for community engagements (hospital visits, school visits etc)

The contract one million percent isn’t just about on field football

He has an obligation to front the media .. he isn’t .. deserves the fine

End of story

And he won’t give a poo about paying it

Can just add an extra $10 a ticket on his next “An Evening With Dusty” to cover it

Spot on Damo, every player contract stipulates that players have make a certain number of appearances. Believe it or not the Cubs Clinic is something that falls under that clause.

"Winning should come ahead of everything else – including personal individual milestones."

Why @Tommorris32 doesn't believe the Tigers should rest Dustin Martin in Round 13 so he can play his 300th in front of his home crowd at the 'G. #9FootyFurnace

Tigers weigh up Dusty decision ahead of Crows clash

Danny Russell
The Age
3 June 2024

Injury-plagued and undermanned Richmond face the dilemma of whether to take club champion Dustin Martin to Adelaide on Thursday night to play his 300th game off a five-day break.

If the Tigers rest their three-time premiership star, he would be able to celebrate the milestone the following week in front of the Richmond faithful at the MCG against Hawthorn.

Richmond coach Yze said the decision to play Martin would not be made on saving the 300th game for the MCG – a stage on which he has won a record three Norm Smith Medals.

“Oh, no it won’t be around that it will be because we’ve got a five-day break,” Yze said.

“So we will probably have three or four players in that category based on their age and workload that might be high risk to play against Adelaide no matter what.

“So we’ll go through that and see who pulls up well, and things like that, and he will obviously be one of those players. So we’ll let you know as soon as we can.

“We’re about performance and things we want, and he’ll want to play, but like I said if it’s too high-risk based on a five-day break ... we’ll make that decision later in the week.”

What a loser Tom Morris is.

If he was playing, he'd make a story that it's a shame they didn't rest him. What a germ.
Go Tigers!

May as well play it in SA
Apparently Dusty doesn’t want to talk to the fan base anyway
And he most definitely doesn’t want the attention

You can’t have it both ways as sookie supporters

1- he doesn’t want to do an interview .. majority sook that it’s even expected and he doesn’t owe us anything etc

2- he doesn’t want attention etc .. but nah stuff that Dusty, we demand the 300th be at the MCG so we can all turn up and show you the attention you don’t want as a way of saying thank you to our modern day champion

Talk about hypocritical

If Dusty really wants less attention on his 300th

Then playing this week is exactly what should happen

Just doesn't want to be interviewed and hounded by media.
