no denying those attendance figures but I suspect the request will fall on deaf ears

From an on-field point of view it sounds as we'll have a fairly soft draw. Too bad we'll be very young and not good enough to take advantage of it  :-\.

9 home games at the 'G  :thumbsup. It's been a while since we've had that many. No Docklands home games presumably against Docklands' tenants as well. Did the AFL finally wake up at how ridiculous that situation was  ::).

It still makes no sense that we don't play at least Essendon twice but Benny Gale has done very well under the circumstances  :clapping. Nice to finally have a voice that carries weight and the AFL will listen to.

said it 2 months ago and ill say it again

best addition to the RFC in 30 years, better than any draft pick or coach is Benny Gale.

Andy D loves him and we love him. He is a smart operator and the biggest key to our success.
:thumbsup He seems to be well respected in the football administration world. He comes across as some one capable of getting the job done without fanfare or headlines. During the media circus surrounding the selection of Richmond's new coach, you would often see Benny there, quietly observing. You can only respect some one who knows what to say and when to say it...and when to keep it zipped.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Actually going to a Sportsman's Night where he is the guest speaker in a couple of weeks.  :thumbsup  Very impressed he went into bat for the club with the AFL heavy weights and was listened too!  :gobdrop :cheers

Just proves that we finally have a man at the Tigers who can get us a better deal at the Board Table of the AFL. No more pushovers this proves that. I can also hope that Benny's clout can also replicate itself on the field and we can begin climbing the ladder. We are used to saying the fish rots at the head. With Benny around we may be on our way to being fresh fish again. :thumbsup

Very happy with only one trip to Perth  :thumbsup

Well I am not, we get to see Richmond very little as it is (games, functions, training days, family days, clinics etc...) so it would have been nice to see them over here at least twice.. :banghead
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Appreciate all that but Perth fans have been pretty lucky with 2 games a year for the past 2-3 seasons

But what about tiger fans in other states? Example tiger fans in Brisbane? Apart from last year's Gold Coast game the Tigers have played up there for 3 years ...they missed out

Time to share the spoils  ;D

Let's hope the AFL web-site has things working better than they did the other day with NAB cup fixture

The bloody link didn't work for over an hour  :banghead

You should try getting any sort of internet from a crappy hotel room in windy and cold downtown Joondalup.  I can't wait to catch the 'red-eye' home tomorrow night.
