I don't understand the level of vitriol this forum has towards Conca.

He's been injured all year to the point where 2015 has been a write off.

Sure he's not Garry Abblet jnr - but he's hardly a potato.

Conca sits in the same echelon as Grigg, Batchelor, Chaplin and B Ellis, he is tradable, he will never be anything special, he is another plodder, happy to sit back and let the rest do the work.

TRADE!!!
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Did we mention he has no heart, much like most of his other mates. He is worth something though being a high pick but that is evaporating.

Was he injured in 2014, No!

His return from 19 games was 3 goals. Thats not going to win you a final let alone a flag.

Trade the bum to anyone who wants a female in their team.

Averaged 19 tackles, 5 tackles . No not elite and definitely tradeable but to question his heart and call him a female is just not correct

People need to look at him for what he is, an inside mid. Not what they want him to be, yet another outside goal kicking mid

3 goals is not enough i dont care whether your in or out. As for his disposals you can argue each one of those are not penetrating or damaging to opposition teams. He has proven this over his career to date.

The act to knock a bloke from behind was a cowards play. You can forgive him if he was any good which he is not IMO.

if the club wants to win flags find or develop goal kicking mids. Its that simple.

Lot of posts about a dud who doesn't have the consistency or the brain power to become what we need.

Why all the "hate" for Conca ???
« Reply #1732 on: October 05, 2015, 12:18:10 AM »
Please enlighten me. Seems almost everyone on this forum wants him gone.

I don't judge him on his 2015 season. Played well against the Hawks . Ordinary against the Crows.
Not his fault the Coach selected him ( not match fit ) in that final.

Did we pay " overs " - possibly , but this is hardly a mistake of " Tambling ' proportions.

I thought back in 2014 , he was comfortably in our top dozen players.

He will be like a new recruit next year.

The only thing I was really disappointed with was that " dog act " where he hit the GWS bloke from behind.

I don't think he's a good player. Don't think he's tough, don't think his disposal is any good, and he can't find the pill.

In 2014 he averaged less than 19 disposals and about 5 tackles per match. That's a B-grade footballer at best, in his finest season.

He's like Kelvin Moore. Average until injured, then he's one of our best players...

Over lauded.

Nutritionally undisciplined.

Can't sit in the team tempos after three plus years.

Is a poofter.

Pick 6 for a jam donut.

Ive defended him in the past but after spraying the ball around in the EF ive had enough. Can't hit a target over 20m. Spoons the ball when under minimal pressure to players who are under pressure.

Ill diciplined and Ill tempered.

And we are paying through the nose for him salary wise.

Agree with this ^

Also, think he is one of only a few at our club who's tackles actually stick

And we are paying through the nose for him salary wise.

And you know this how? Think this is incorrect as it was widely reported he took unders to stay, knocked back a huge offer from Freo. SO not sure

Said it many times before, Conca can play and play very well. We all see things differently but i see a player who sticks tackles, runs into the rights positions, gets the hardball, clearances, kicks well enough, team player, brings others into the game like Edwards does and even he still cops it from some :P. Keeper for mine :clapping
