I would have taken a few from last year's Weagles.

You might find that is a completely different issue with Bachar and Essendon .

 ::) ::)

The "issue" as you put it is not relevant to what you posted.

You simply said "why on earth are we looking at getting players from  a "'bottom club "". Especially when they cant get a game there."

I responded to that using Houli as an example because he clearly fits into the categories YOU listed ... a bit too late to change the criteria now  :rollin ;D

havn't you ever given your poor suffering staff the quitters never win and winners never quit speech?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

The Maric talk bewilders me.

I believe he would be a backward step from Graham & Browne.

Why Jacobs & Mumford were not chased when then left their original clubs shows how slow we are to identify real list need.

I too would throw a heap of money at Naitanui.

Its funny, both Jacobs and Mumford were spoken about the same way you and others are now speaking of Maric. I'm not saying Maric is a superstar or will end up like Mumford, but he is miles in front of Browne and Graham. Graham is pathetic.

I know you were kidding but we could offer Nic Nat $1.5 mill a year and he still wouldnt come.  :(
Will be an eagle for life.

I personally think Maric will have a positive effect at Richmond, he might not be too much of an improvement than Graham but what it will do is make sure Angus works his arse off to keep his spot, this season he was coasting along being a lazy prick. I think if we can get a 10% improvement out of him it would make a huge difference. It would give someone like Browne & Derrickx much needed time to develop properly.

Browne needs more than time to develop properly, he needs an effing miracle.

How?  The fact that hindsight showed us Bachar could actually play?

and maric had injuries.
...but let me guess, one is a reason and the other is an excuse?

Issues, injuries,  - not relevant to your initial argument

Facts are he could not get a game for what ever reason in a crap bottom 4 side in the bombers in 2010

Under the criteria you are using for why the club shouldn't recruit Maric we should not have recruited Houli
