I have a confession to make. After my pontification on another thread re taking a stand and not going to watch a side that contains inept/freeloading footballers, well.......... my 3 boys got 'wind' of it and revolted. Their argument centred on: the traditional kick in the park,....followed by the feast of junk food, .....climaxing in the festive nature of the day listening to the grog squad and the chance to see the 'Maric's', Ellis, Morris and of course Cotch in action.

Soooooooooo............after a long discussion they convinced me to head-off to the 'g' today. But......I have stated to them clearly that if Jackson or Edwards kills us with a turnover I will scream like a banshee!!!...... Actually, it's always funny to see them jostle as we take our seats - each trying to sit farthest away from me  ;D

Btw I did have another motivation for going that they don't know about 8).... My wife on hearing that I wasn't going to the footy was heard to say: "Great, we can all now got to '......'s' 3rd Birthday party  (obscure branch of the family)................ :shh

Good call under the circumstances I reckon, especially with that kid's birthday party.
Just head to the game and if we lose or Hackson/Effwards put in another shocker, you can always vent online too :thumbsup

Lovin ur work TFT  :cheers

Gotta to say, this is the first time in literally years that I'm going to a game with real fire in the guts, we've been that poo that all I used to go for was to have a look at the young blokes developing. Today its all about the result. Bring it on and don't dare lose, I will torch the place  ;D

with the telecast being delayed by an hour and a half i'll be missing the "as it happens spleen venting" today.

i prefer not to know what has happened when watching a delayed telecast

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

So are my ways higher than your ways,

Me too , its going to take all my strength not to come on here or listen to radio but I just cant stand watching a game knowing whats going to happen. If we loose and Edwards and Jackson turn in the same crap then I will be venting slightly delayed guys. If we win well I will just say "we are exactly as were we expected to be at this time of year". Most of us were thinking 1-4 even though we were hoping for better.
