I like Knights but think he,ll be up against it in 2014 coming back from this injury and the recruitment of similar players in Lennon, Lloyd and Gordon.

Knights out of the dark

Richmond’s mature-age recruit, Chris Knights, is making steady progress again following a setback on the comeback trail from the serious knee injury that he sustained nearly a full year ago.

"It’s back on track now, so hopefully, in the next week or two, I’ll resume back with the main group and then start playing some footy again.”

Who cares ? Another player who couldn't get a game in an ordinary Adelaide team and a player who was cursed with injuries before he came to us. Played a couple of games and now lives off the Richmond pension. Will be injured all year and will probably be offered a Nathan Foley 3 year deal in the next few weeks.

He did come with injury baggage. Maybe unrelated to his current plight but he left the Crows for a reason.

Pretty annoyed about it actually Hampson and Knights a couple of crocs with dodgy knees.

Don't think he ever had knee problems before

This patella issue was caused by the dislocation, which was a freak accident

Would think the fact Sanderson wouldn't play him despite good SANFL form would have been a pretty good reason to leave  ;D

One more serious injury and he will retire and move into coaching. Hopefully his body can hold up because I feel he can offer us plenty when he is out there.

No as I said not directly related but he did have numerous leg related injuries with his problematic foot and hips.
I'm not a doctor but to say the knee was entirely unrelated may or may not be correct also.

Anyways he's a croc now.
