Pick 57. Gold Coast - Matthew Dick (Calder Cannons, 187cm, 86kg, DOB: 03/11/1994)

Medium defender who has great speed (2.88sec for 20m sprint), is a good kick and topped the clean handball test at the Draft Combine dropping just one point. He's a good decision maker who can play on taller or smaller opponents. At AFL level he'll be a linebreaking rebounding half-back and/or a winger. The '80m' type who runs 25m and kicks 55m. His solid body-size means he'll be able to play some senior games next year which would appeal to Gold Coast with their young list.

58. North Melbourne – Leigh Osborne

Height: 186cm, Weight: 84kg

Recruited from: Frankston

Rebounding defender who tested very well at the combine, finishing top 5 for both 20m sprint and repeat sprints.

He also has very nice footskills and is a ready made size

Pick 59. Gold Coast - Jack Frost ( Williamstown, 194cm, 87kg, 25/02/1992 )

Going for a bit of an outsider here. Frost is a 20 y.o. key defender who arrived at Williamstown last year knowing he required two hip operations during the off season which interrupted his whole preseason. As a result he didn't play in the Willy seniors until the final round of the home/away season this year. However from then on he starred at full-back during the VFL finals. He only conceded three goals in a month of football playing on the likes of Matt Little (Bendigo forward and 2010 Frosty Miller medallist), Dean Galea (Port Melbourne) and the two big young Geelong boys Mitch Brown and Nathan Vardy. The Suns need to sure up their defence and provide ready-made support and back-up down there for the experienced Nathan Bock.

I might use tigs2011's mock draft to get this moving again.

61. West Coast - Laine Wilkins (Midfielder/Forward)
Height: 189cm
Weight: 78kg
Club: Peel Thunder
Range: 30-late
Description:Wilkins is an interesting midfield/forward prospect who did his prospects no harm on the big stage nearly single handedly dragging WA back into the game against Metro with 3 third quarter goals. Athletically he will test off the charts in the vertical leap and is quite a competent overhead mark, freakish speed and good skills. However, he is prone to the odd howler but that can be fixed at the next level IMO. As displayed in the Champs he is a guy with huge hurt factor whether it be midfield or as a forward. Have moved him back up my order as I think his athletic traits will see him go early rather than later.

62. West Coast - Nicholas Rodda (KPD)
Height: 194cm
Weight: 94kg
Club: West Perth
Range: 30-late
Description:Rodda is a guy who I think will go higher than expected due to needs. He’s a lovely size and a very good full back. Can shut down an opponent but is also a very good kick for a FB of his size, which is a rare commodity to have. Capable of taking the kick-ins as well as linking up on the rebound and being able to hurt opposition teams with his foot skills which will see him go reasonably high for a full back.
