The Last of Us should have come out two years ago but Naughty Dog built it from the ground up engine and all. Plenty of pre-release reviews calling it game of the generation, big call but should be good 

I grabbed Witcher 2 and Darksiders 2 for 360 from EB despite already having them on PC  been itching to dive into Gears of War Judgement but have been hooked on another Witcher 2 playthrough lol. What I don't get is in Australia we get a censored version since it was released before the new R18+ classification, but that censorship is the removal of two average sex scenes, but the game is still riddled with heaps of other absolutely full on sex scenes. 

Yeah got a ton of awards didn't it from its announcement?

I've gotten hooked in L.A Noire. I was always worried it would just be to slow paced for my liking but its quite a good game.

Got a few days off, perfect time for E3 for me

LA Noire was a really good concept and it was a shame that Rockstar screwed Bondi Games because I reckon they were on to something. Though I have one major beef with LA Noire but I'll wait until you're finished before I say anything 

Stuck at work just watching IGN Australia and PCGM stick up E3 updates on Facebook. PS4 console reveal in. I don't mind it, looks like the PS2. Just need to find out what's under the hood now.

IGN reporting that the XB1 base model will be US$499 and AU$599 and a November launch. Similar to last time. I wonder I the price that EB Games have been quoting for the PS4 was just a place holder. PS3 launch sales were considerably low due to the $999 price tag, so fingers crossed that will get dropped. Time to go into EB this week and chuck a pre-order on both and see if they'll chuck any games in as a package when more is known about release titles.

PS4 will have no DRM, no restrictions on pre-owned games, and no always on-line/occasional check in of any sort.

So knowing that and with the news already known that it will be more developer friendly, Sony have officially just won the next console war lol.

Thanks, I'll ask when I'm finished. Just got demoted to Arson and accidently hit restart when I was almost finished one of the stories and have to do it over again 

Haven't seen it yet just come on to see as a friend was saying Microsoft was getting destroyed by Sony 

I'm pretty sure I read a sign saying the price was just a place holder and it'll rise or drop once pricing has been released.

PCGM just reported that Sony have said the PS4 will be cheaper. Yep, M$ getting destroyed! Not even going to order a X1 now.

Just read 400$ on launch. Only thing that bugs me is you have to pay for online for ps4 now apparently  . Although its $5 and you don't need online

Fight Night Champion on ps3 a little while ago but thats about it haha

Just finished L.A Noire 

My biggest beef is actually two things, but kind of one. It's linear. An open world sandbox game but nothing to do. GTA and RDR at least had little missions or events if you went exploring. LA had nothing except for some collectables and dialog while driving or the occasional emergency call but was always across the other side of the map. The other part is it didn't matter how much information you gathered from crime scenes or how well you interrogated suspects, none of them were guilty anyway.

But it was an awesome concept and executed quite well but was really lacking. Have you played Sleeping Dogs? One of the most underrated GTA like sandbox games in recent years IMO.

Destiny looks awesome. Been following this one for a while. Ryse looks really good too but it's currently XB1 exclusive. Crytek aren't owned by Micro$oft though so I reckon in time it will come out on PS4 and PC too.

Really hanging for Witcher 3 but that's not until next year so far looks like most of the release titles are going to be current and next gen. Some really good new IPs on the way though
