Trying to catch up with E3, hard with the time zones. Things that interest me so far

GTA V to PC, XB1 and PS4 port: keen to see how well it looks. Already handled great. What might have me keen a second time around is that your GTA Online progress carries over.
Farcry 4: I loved Farcry 3. The trailer was awesome but I really need some gameplay
Assassin's Creed Unity: I want to see more. Just looks like a prettier version of what we've seen. ACIII really did something different with the semi-open wilderness and the sailing, then Black Flag and being able to roam the entire Caribbean was unreal. This series will die the moment they don't bring anything new to the table.
Bloodborne: I need to see some gameplay. I love what From Software do. They're taking gaming back to what it should be (though a little too punishing at times). Not big on horror but will follow this one.
Uncharted 4: Just a reveal. Fingers crossed the recent departures from Naughty Dog don't hurt this game. Great series that has only gotten better and massive expectations from this one.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: I did really enjoy the reboot, in fact I re-bought the PS4 version but still getting through my newer backlog first. Would have been perfect if there were a little more tomb raiding and a little more open world for exploration. A bit less whiney would be great too.
Halo Masterchief collection: Reckon I'd play through Halo 1-4 again if I had some time between other games.
Mass Effect 4: Seems pretty early but it's my favourite franchise so I can't wait to hear more on this.
Little Big Planet 3: ...yeeeeeeeessssssssssss
Forza Horizon 2: The only racing game I'm really into. The seamless multiplayer looks awesome.

Games already on my raider that E3 has just made me want more of:
Sunset Overdrive
Destiny
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Witcher 3
Oddworld New n Tasty

E3 trailers of Fifa 15 and NHL 15 look cool and I'll get them like I always do, but just looks the same old same.

Testing out my new game capture card with a Wolfenstein new order level https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5uzDFF0nGA

Eventually the plan is to have a decent gaming channel going but  just getting the hang of capturing, settings, editing etc.

Pretty good effort dwaino. Games looks good but the AI looks a little dumb as who wouldn't be alerted by a laser cutting through a metal chain only 30 feet away?

Poor level to show the game off. Some of the later missions in tight corridors and lots of shooting, blood and gore would have been better. I had only just got the Elgato game capture so wanted to just test it on the next thing I played to get an idea on capturing, quality, size and YouTube rendering. I split that video into 3 parts roughly 6mins each and they took 2-3 hours each to get on to youtube. That was over wifi and at 1080p. I compared that 1080p video to other gaming vids in 720p and in the normal youtube window there was absolutely no difference. I'm in the process of capturing a few games before I practice editing in a third party editor (currently looking at movavi video editor as it's a good price once off, would get adobe premier but not keen on the subscription model) and creating a teaser trailer of what my channel will be about. I will probably make my first review on either the new Abe's odyssey (new and tasty,  remake of the original) or the remaster of The Last of Us, both due out end of next month. Gives me plenty of time to practice. After that I'll be looking at doing a weekly wrap of gaming news.

This is the part of the house I have been relegated to  :lol I don't do a lot of online gaming on the PC so it is on wifi at the moment. Usually stretch over an ethernet cable from the powerline adapter behind the xb1/ps4 when I want to play some diablo 3 or something.

I'll work on some Forza 5 footage for you if you want ;D Forza Horizon 2 soon which I really can't wait for

The Wolfenstein footage was on PS4, recorded in 1080p at max quality settings. Been looking at other people's videos and noticed they weren't as clear. So this time I kept it 1080p but dropped the quality. In the regular Youtube window quality is fine. Only at full screen does it not quite look as crisp but it looks like this is what everyone else done.

This time I have used Dead Rising 3 on Xbox One. The first half an hour of gameplay but I chopped some cinematics to get two 10min parts. I was a few chapters into the game but stuffed around and missed some side missions. Dead Rising being a 'timed' game I saw it a good excuse to reset the story but I didn't realise it would keep my stats and unlocks.... so my character is wearing a welding mask and fireman boots that I equipped on my old game  :lol

Yeah dwaino I use Premiere Pro for editing and I use Camtasia for capturing. I get both for free through work.  :thumbsup

Would love to see forza 5 especially a spin around Bathurst if you are up to it.  :cheers

Here you go Tiga. Bathurst in a Hyundai Genesis  :lol

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBQckjso9_0&feature=youtu.be

couldn't for the life of me pull together 2 tidy laps when I knew I was capturing it. One cool feature with Forza 5 that they will be sticking with for Horizon 2 and I imagine from here on out is 'Drivatar'. You no longer race plain old AI. Instead the more you race a track the more it learns how you drive. Once you completely sync your Drivatar to a track it will then become available to anyone playing that track. So when you race a track it is actually against learned Drivatars of other people and that's why their names appear above the other cars that I'm racing.

Sick of beating this Nekro_Turd guy on Trials Fusion. ;D

Seriously good game for the price it's going for ($36 new). Tricks is a nice new feature but not really fussed with them tbh.

:lol I just burned through the levels to get the medals and unlock new tracks. Got a fair few gold early on but stuff me some of those later ones are tough. I think I finished one with like 120 restarts lol.

I kind of wish it didn't have tricks. They are unnecessary outside of the handful of trick levels and some people use them to cheat to set new times.

I've been on a Fifa 14 binge. My FUT is in div 6 in single player and getting tough vs mostly world class opponents. Been playing a lot of pro clubs with my mates too. We're about to get relegated from div 4 I think  :'(

Besides that I've been squeezing in some Tomb Raider. I think the new Abe's odyssey is nearly out, The Last of Us remaster at the end of the month then it is a busy back end of the year with new Fifa and NHL 15, Destiny (hhnnnngggg!), Middle Earth shadow of Mordor, Driveclub, Dragon Age inquisition (hnnnnnngggggg!!!), Metro redux, Diablo III, Farcry 4, Assassin's Creed unity, and some how have to squeeze in Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One. Probably missed a few here. I've got most of these on preorder but for the first time in a long time I think I'm going to have to put stuff aside and plan how I tackle this cluster of releases ;D

I've got this bad boy on preorder for next February

Yeah I'm going through them pretty quick but having a bit of fun making sure I get the golds so have done a couple of the later ones a couple of times to say the least ;D. Haven't seen the cheating but that's a damn shame.

Haha had FIFA 14 on ps3 so won't be playing any sport games until the new ones come out on ps4. Can't wait for 2k15 though not that I expect it to blow the older ones away but would just be nice to have a sport game on the ps4 that I can just waste time on.

Seen Tomb Raider a few times and everytime I toss up whether to get it and end up walking away, just can't get myself to get it but always stop and have a look  :lol. Will probably try and wait it out for 2k15 before I get any more games then I'll get Destiny as it was one of the ones I was keen on before even getting the console.

Bring on a new God of War ;D

Fifa 14 on ps4 is a different kettle of fish to fifa 14 on ps3. It is on the new Ignite engine and completely different mechanics. But yeah so close to 15 just wait.

I have 2k14 which is awesome. My worry with 2k15 is they will crowbar VC in more again like they did from 13 to 14. I won't support a game littered with micro transactions. I'll admit I have bought a few FUT packs with real money but I play it a bit and it's the best way to get the best players.

Tomb Raider looks fantastic but if you played it on ps3 or 360 then it's not necessary to play again. I grabbed it on special and it's a cheap way to grind out some trophies.

When Destiny is out we'll have to join up some time. Most of my mates are on different times during the weeks because of night shifts and stuff so we usually only catch up online on the weekends, but if you don't have anyone else playing Destiny to party with then more than welcome to tag along with us ;D

Not sure if it'll be the same as 2k13 but I think the VC can be avoided if you start it without being online? Or something along those lines. I still just stick to 2k12 because I've spent so long getting my giant center to a decent enough level that I couldn't be bothered doing it over again ;D

Truth be told I haven't played Tomb Raider since PS1, well I did download the PS1 version on my PS3  ;D

Sounds good, not many of my mates have PS4 yet although slowly they are getting onto it.

The VC is the only way to upgrade skills. But in 2k14 they also made it a requirement in GM mode which peed everyone off.
