Think some posters should start going to the game and watch the set ups at Centre Bounces and stoppages

Hampson should be the Orren Stephenson type of backup instead they will treat him as the #1 ruck at the club and sit on their hands which is the norm for the listmanagement crew of this club.

Nah Claw, couple on here think he's a superstar - maybe even the cream we need.

Couple of fools just cant seem to give credit where its due either..heads in arse disease.. :snidegrin
I would agree he has been servicable lately. He still lacks in basic areas but has given a good contest in the ruck. This is probably about as good as it will get.
As usual though some are very quick to hand out the praise after a couple of half decent games when they have a 10 yr history to judge him by.It seems some are blinded by their own desperate need to see players succeed.

Same could be said about Morris and Batchelor couldn't it, but they don't cop the same as Hammer do they, in fact many are so blind regarding these players they actually think they are the answer and future... :huh

All 3 cop it

Wake up

They do. At least Batch though is relatively young and probably has upside.

Hammer - 28 years old.
Morris - 27 years old
Batch  - 24 years old

Unfortunately I don't think Batch has much upside.... as a backman.
He isn't going to get any taller to play on KPF and he isn't going to get any quicker or more agile to play on medium or small forwards. He is an inbetweener and at AFL level that means you are a listclogger. Unless....
I think I mentioned this about 3 years ago but what do people think about him being a lead up forward? He has good dukes, is strong in a contest and would fight tooth and nail to keep the footy in the forward line but would need to work on his kicking.
IMO that's his last chance at staying on our list.
Thoughts??

That will be Batch at the end of the year during his footy trip, after they give him the wrong destination.

Hopefully they don't have to get a flight there because we know Hampson won't be able to catch it

Richmond won the hitout count by seven and the hitout-to-advantage count by three in the second quarter, but it lost the clearance count by nine. Despite dominating the stoppages, the Bombers scored just five more points than the Tigers from this source.
