You forgot chaplin.

like it or not ramps, 5-6 of that list are in our starting 22 and contributed to us winning 15 games.

Ask yourself what have we given up for that list.

Chaplins a good player. I have no problem with that.

Happy to go on record to say I don't think this is a good trade for the Tiges. (And for the record, I liked the Maric trade at the time)
Just read that email from the club saying Hampson has be in the system for 7 years! Holly stuff, he has done nothing. I would have said he was drafted 3 maybe 4 years ago.
Since his draft year Carlton have drafted Kruezer with pick 1 and traded some decent picks for Warnock. IMO that goes a long way to saying Carlton didn't have all that much confidence in Shaun.
And neither do I.
It's done now so let's just wait and see.
Good luck to him

Well I can remember starting a thread here years ago pushing for Warnock....oh and Mundy...as per usual I was shot down.....gee what could of been eh!!!! But the knockers back then, holey hell!

So lets just see how he goes, welcome him to the club and support him..

good luck shaun hampson.
dont think your worth pick 28 but i can see the reasoning behind taking you.

not happy with the process in that we have given up a valuable second rounder for a player who really hasnt shown much at all.
i really hope your a ruckman and the club plays you as such.
at 26 yrs of age it is time to step up and show the footy world you can play at this level.
again good luck and all the best to ya.

why do you think the pick we gave up is so valuable, claw?

Fills a need; don't think that can be disputed

Far too early to say whether it's a master stroke or a bust seeing he is yet to play a game for us.

But I'm prepared to back our list management people on this as the only really dud choice they've made IMV is Grigg   ;D

Maric, Chaplin, Knights (prior to injury was tracking OK), Houli as choices for our senior list have been good choices that have been need specific

And before people start jumping up and down and start telling me about Petterd, Lonergan and Big O. Those 3 are rookies, cost us absolutely nothing and in the case of Petterd and big O they have done the job they were recruited for

Let's revisit after he's played a few games

Until then...

Welcome to Tigerland Shaun

As compo for the loss of White and McGuane, won't we likely get a 2nd rounder anyway??? IF we do, which I think may be the case, lot of people may be eating their words...

Take the bloated opinion out of it and run your eyes over the best players over the course of 2013. With the exception of lonners , ea one played a role in our victories along the way. That's right every one of them. So spare me of the bluster and stick with the facts partner.... :lol
