How old is he?

I would back this recruitment.

How old is he? I've always liked him, but uh, what will happen to Vickery? Maric, Stephenson and Vickery never all played in the same team, did they?
Vickery as third tall?

I recon he is a good get, knee issues are worrying.

Do we need another plank who is no good below his knees? We need an agile Ruckman like Ryder. I think the future is quicker, shorter ruckman that possess an elite vertical leap. Slow planky tap ruckman will be the next AFL dinosaurs.

Carlton Recruiting Manager:

Rogers: Richmond has shown the most interest (in Shaun Hampson). We've had some interest from other clubs
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

This discussion is starting to read like the thread regarding the recruitment of Maric.... :whistle

We all know the end result to that story.

Hampson is better now than Knobel ever was.

I don't know how bad his knee(s) are, but one of his strengths is his speed and agility for a big man. Is not a 3rd fwd type, is definitely a ruckman first. Can only recall one opportunity in his career where hes had a decent run at 1st ruck and did quite well.

He's 25 turning 26 march next season

Can't kick a set shot to save his life but a pretty decent overhead mark and is athletic for a big bloke. Wouldn't mind him but what would the asking price be? Probably too much if he's contracted.
