trade week should be like a boxing match. the combatants need to get back into the ring and fight instead of peeing off into the sunset claiming youve won the bout when you done nothing of the sort. This stuff that we are done with trade week reminds me of when Miller concluded the McMahon deal, he came out and said it was exhausting. Malakies. Get in the ring and fight to bring better players to Richmond. One player whose injured all the time. Get in and Fight. Dont get your pants pulled down by the scum at Carlton pffft.

Blobbo should worry about Essendon and why they can never get any deals done.

We had a target, we got him on day one and our trade week/s are pretty much done.

i hope your wrong with that last comment Wayne?

We are nowhere near done if we fancy a flag anytime soon.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Last 22 games:

19.9 score
387 hitouts
87 marks / 38 contested
46 tackles

Have no idea where that ranks him as a ruck/fwd

But seems like injury and spending too much time up forward are the issues with his development

Minson's AA year:

7.5 score
860 hitouts
40 marks / 15 contested
81 tackles

Pick 31 is fine for Hampson. At least you know what you're getting and you back your development department to make him a better player. Did anyone expect Maric to be as good as he's been? No-one I'd say.

Plus you get Megan Gale into the deal.  :cheers

Looks that way, and he's regularly injured. I've seen him spud it up and go missing quite a bit up forward. Nothing I haven't seen out of Luke McGuane though, and this guy is a 201cm ruck.

Its a great pick up & what is required.

Stats are rubbish & always will be. If everyone went of stats Joel Bowden would have won 4 Brownlow medals, Jackson would be chief of the AFL. & Nathan Foley the Road Runner. Don't give me these stats rubbish cause if he was that good a player, He would be their #1 Ruckman at pooton & be in the senior side every week.  ;D

In any case Hampson is a good trade & will help out Maric & give the ball to our midfielders. Richmond must play both Ruckmen every week to be successful IMO

Spent plenty of time up forward, just ask Posty and Griff.

As stated, 28 will end up being 31-35 and the club used their little scoring system and determined that Hampson both fills a need and is better than anyone we had our eye at the pick.

This bloke can wrestle and take a serious contested mark. Just needs to start kicking straighter.

Griff can't wait to meet Hampson after he returns from the rehab group's end of season trip to the bubble wrap factory.

From what I understand, we don't have any more trade targets in this trade period. I'm not saying we're locked and loaded.

Come on Coach, a reverse Schulz is no better than a forward McMahon. Hampson is far better than that. I think a reverse Polo would be a more apt description?
