That's half the team.

I think he faked the injury because he was getting his pants pulled down. Useless

Mason Cox, 30 seconds in his career is already ahead of Hampson. 18 months ago Cox picked up a footy for the first time. Yet we keep playing it safe with C Grade rubbish. Year in year out..

Richmond development. No words.

The back-up: How does your club's second-string ruckman rate?

RICHMOND

Shaun Hampson was recruited from Carlton at the end of 2013 to play second fiddle to Ivan Maric, but he has become more of an insurance policy for when injury strikes. Hampson and Maric have only played in the same team six times, but the former Blue has been particularly valuable this year with Maric struck down with a back injury. Hampson has averaged 26 hit-outs when playing at AFL level, but his lack of impact around the ground (averaging 8.05 possessions) has prevented him from becoming the No.1 man. His inability to hit the scoreboard (with an average of 0.41 goals a game) has also meant the Tigers have preferred to use tall forwards Ben Griffiths or Ty Vickery as support ruckmen when Maric is fit.

Hampson is the worst. At AFL level you shouldn't be on edge when a player is kicking for goal 20m out

Valuable?

Honestly we would have got more value assessing the potential of Chol or Soldo...

If we could just melt the two of them down let mixture  merge into one we would have one hell of a ruckman.
Hampsons ruck work is very very good but like everyone else i lament just about every other part of his game.Ivan well he is tough has a bit of mongrel great second third efforts always competes  can take a grab and kick the odd goal.

In fairness to the spud his last two games for us were pretty  decent and he has not played a lot.

Hampsons ruck work is very very good

Yeah when he's not putting it down the throats of the opposition....
